The Kuleana Resort, the most beautiful property location in the world . Two ground floor side-by-side condominiums. Rent one or rent both to take advantage of the adjoining passage door . See Listing 77031 and 77036 for adjoining condo.

This is one of the best location on Maui. From your private lanai, enjoy an ever-changing ocean show of beautiful sunsets, sunrises and rainbows over the islands of Lanai and Molokai. Enjoy seasonal whale watching and daily sea turtles swim and feed at the water edge. The ocean is yards from your lanai providing swimming, surfing and beach play steps away.

If a pool is more inviting, step out the front door to the large pool that is heat controlled to maintain an enjoyable swim no matter the weather. If you need a break from the water, walk the beautiful grounds of the Kuleana Resort or take advantage of the on-site tennis and shuffleboard courts. The Kuleana Resort grounds are often used for Weddings and Memorial Services.

The living room, dining area and bedroom have been furnished with beautiful designer quality furniture. The kitchen includes granite counters, refrigerator with icemaker, dishwasher, oven and microwave. Ceiling fans are provided in both the living room and bedroom. A remote controlled air conditioner is available in the bedroom. The bathroom shower is granite stone with a glass door entry. The bedroom offers a California King bed.

Note: The Fire Code is strictly enforced that there is no more than an occupancy of a maximum of 4 people (this includes children/infants). We only rent to 3 adult size guests or 2 adults and 2 small children. 4 adult size guests are to many for this condo.

A great location
We had a great stay. The location of the unit could not be any better. We watched whales from our lanai every morning and with each sunset. The staff was very helpful during check in and was friendly throughout the stay. Everything we needed was provided from pool noodles to beach towels To coolers and kitchen utensils. We will be back.

Beautiful View! Great Location!
This property was just perfect. Condo was the closest one to the water, the pool, and the grills in the entire complex. Very comfortable bed, even the pullout was good for our daughter. All the needed dishware was included, we especially used the electric water pitcher & French press, although there were a multitude of other coffee brewing machines. Located within 1 to 3 miles of everything you would want to do including Luau's and water tours. Many beaches to choose from. Was nice to help support the rebuilding town of Lahaina as well.

Awesome!
This was a great place to stay - beautiful views. It was little farther away from things but we didn't mind this at all ( still pretty close to grocery store and restaurants )- I thought it was more in Lahaina but it was in Kanapali which was great .Nice place to snorkel with a little beach super close by ( within walking distance). We would definitely stay here again! Kathy was easy to communicate with also.

Perfect Paradise Getaway
We are incredibly thankful we found this little piece of paradise. It was the perfect place to soak up the island life. The beach is even closer than it looks in the photos. The grounds were beautiful and my teenagers tried all the amenities- tennis, shuffle board, ping pong, etc. We also spent tons of time in the pool. The boys snorkeled every day and saw tons of turtles. The condo had the best sunset view and we loved being on the lani. The hosts were so gracious and responded quickly to questions before we even booked and during our stay. They even had beach chairs, coolers, and beach towels to use. We will definitely be back!

The grounds at Kuleana are stunning! The vegetation is gorgeous, and the ocean views the second you walk through the security gate is breathtakingly beautiful! The unit is nestled between the pool and the ocean, making it a prime location! The view from the lanai is incredible, and we enjoyed the sunsets, warm ocean breezes, and turtle and bird watching. Beach access is immediately outside the condo, and the snorkeling was amazing! The beach also attracts sea turtles, which we saw daily. The condo itself also had everything we needed and more! The BBQs are also conveniently close and thoroughly cleaned every day. If you're looking for a relaxing, fun, conveniently located oceanfront condo, this is the place to stay!

Getaway
It was a wonderful spot to be in. Can’t beat the location within the condos. The only bummer is you can’t know who your neighbors will be. The permanent tenant kept to himself. The people with all the kids was a bit much. We were at the mercy of their noise. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and our neighbors were no reflection of the owners. The only other bummer is I would have liked to be informed that the beach was gone due to storms. We snorkeled extensively the year before at this location, my husband attempted to snorkel this year and was hurt severely, 6 lacerations. Be careful. Hopefully the beach will return here. The whale watching was phenomenal! We did get to meet the owners and they are wonderful people! We would like to return one day, having 3 kids and 2 adults being loud was one reason we gave 4 stars and not knowing the beach was gone was a super huge disappointment.

Beautiful stay
The property is just north of the part of Lahaina which unfortunately burned down. Many places around here are still or back to operating. Figured I’d point that out since the address says Lahaina. THE PROPERTY. The condo is not ON the beach, but is situated on a cliff overlooking the pacific and has the most spectacular view anytime of day. The big glass door allows you to enjoy that view whenever you like as well. The condo and the community are quiet and clean which we loved since our goal was to relax. Most of what we did was no further than a 10 minute drive away which was nice. Some like everything to be walking distance but we didn’t mind. I didn’t communicate with the owner only because their welcome email was so detailed and left no questions. Like I said, the condo was clean and everything worked so there was no need to reach out either. 10/10 experience, we’ll be looking to book again on our next trip.

Aloha Kathy and Jim: We stayed in your unit 408 and our friends stayed in unit 407. We enjoyed our visit in your paradise island condo and found everything was perfect. The condo was well stocked and the location is amazing any closer and you truly would be in the ocean. It was truly a wonderful relaxing holidays listening to the waves and seeing whales jump in front of our lanai not to mention the turtles we seen every morning feeding in front of our condo. The location of the condo is fantastic and we truly were blessed to be able to stay and enjoy this wonderful location. We also would like to thank Kathy for her attentiveness and generosity in letting us stay a little longer on the day of our departure we truly appreciated it. Location cannot be beat
The pluses: The owners are great to work with. The resort is stunning, and if you want to enjoy serene pool time, there's no better place. I also think the price is very fair. They have nice beach chairs and a cooler, though even sitting on the lanai in the morning feels magical. It's a largely older crowd, which means it's quiet and impeccably clean. The grounds are immaculately kept up and the pool is pristine. As promised, you can always see throngs of sea turtles by taking a few steps from the back of the property. Plenty of towels. Comfortable bed. It's so nice that the pool is basically next to the unit, which meant that it was never a hassle to take multiple swims a-day. The location is great, and you can walk to delicious coffee and organic produce. Things to be aware of: The unit is a great place to park your stuff, but not the best place to lounge around. It might officially sleep 4 with the sofa bed, but it felt a little cramped for even the two of us plus one 7 year old. (I wouldn't recommend it for four adults, unless two of them didn't mind the heat, and they didn't plan on spending much time in the unit.) As with all of the units on the property (and probably everywhere on the island), only the bedroom has A/C, and it meant that I rarely wanted to hang out in the living room, even with the fan on. (I tend to run hot.) There isn't great noise insulation from the adjoining unit, but it's a reasonable level of noise, and this isn't a resort where people party loudly. To sum up: I highly recommend this property. This was my second stay and I would pick this property again for my next visit!

A short but beautiful stay
Excellent location, any closer and we’d be in the water. It was a short stay but we swam, got some good rest in a comfortable bed and had coffee on the rocks watching the honu graze.

Couldn't have been better!!!
We had an absolutely perfect stay this past week. The weather couldn't have been better, getting away from our cold rainy hometown. We loved the location of this condo, with beautiful views of the ocean within steps from the patio. It was comfortable and had everything that we needed, including snorkle gear, beach towels, chairs, and great communication from the host with recommendations for everything we needed. Watching the big turtles that were swimming around just a few steps from our back door each morning was one of the highlights of our trip. Loved the tiki torches that were lit each evening, and the BBQs where we grilled our dinner one night. It was so hard to come home, but are already looking forward to coming back.

We loved staying at Kuleana again in what we feel is the best unit there. Fabulous views so close to the water. The only disappointment was the south beach had disappeared and you could only get in from the north beach when it was calm. Sad to see the ladder go too. The host was extremely responsive and helpful. We had a wonderfully relaxing time and slept so well on the very comfortable bed.

We opened the curtains of the condo and the ocean was only steps away. I don't think I have ever stayed that close to the water before. It was a lovely week. The unit had every thing we needed and was just the right size for my wife and I. There were nice chairs to take to the beach along with coolers and toys. We didn't need to bring a thing. The condo grounds are very nice and landscaped. Each night they light tiki torches around around sunset. They even have a nice gentleman that blows a conch shell to celebrate the day. It was super relaxing. We had a little confusion using the cable TV and the owner was very responsive in walking me through the cable set up. We couldn't have been happier.

This property was immaculate. Beautiful grounds that are very well maintained. Stunning views of the ocean and sunset. We saw many turtles right off of the lanai. Greatly appreciated the security of the gated grounds and considerate groundskeepers/security personnel. Kathy was very clear and helpful in her communication of the grounds, unit and check in process making it very easy. This place is just incredible and we really enjoyed our time here. Perfect Oceanfront Location, Amazing Price!
We were so very happy with our stay! My partner and I have visited Maui many times and now that we've stayed here we don't think we'll ever stay anywhere else. The unit isn't huge, but for two people it was perfect. The kitchen and bathroom had all the basics, including dish and laundry soap, basic cleaning materials, etc. There could be a FEW more pots and pans... but it was never really an issue. There is AC in the bedroom, and while it is quite loud compared to most AC units, we got used to it quickly and it was more than enough to cool the whole condo. The unobstructed view from the unit was SPECTACULAR. We worried that we would have little privacy being on the ground floor, but that was not a problem at all. Very few people walked by, and no one was able to see in easily. In our opinion this was one of the best locations on the property. Other guests and owners were very nice - some of the nicest we've ever met - and we had the best time. The beach is a very short walk from the unit, and it is BEAUTIFUL. We swam in the ocean every day, watched turtles, snorkeled, and lounged by the pool all without having to leave. Pure bliss!
