We initially found the bed uncomfortable as I had a bad back, however the manager moved us to a more comfortable room without issue and apologised.the new room was excellent. Very friendly staff.

This place is quirky as! There is not a right angle in the place. It is straight out of a Harry Potter film. Not very good if you are wobbly but full of character

Charming Elizabethan building 1585, very quirky and askew doors & walls.like stepping back in time. Lovely Shropshire Union canal nearby for walking over the Nantwich viaduct.

A beautiful historic hotel that has lovely rooms and a great bar and restaurant. My only complaint is the lukewarm dribble of a shower. Just enough to soap up and rinse.

Lovely quirky hotel with creaky and uneven floors just as an hotel of its age should be. Room very comfortable. Great bar and restaurant in the centre of town.

Quirky, town centre inn. Rooms could be improved.
Friendly staff, great pub and building full of old world charm. Poor quality bed, mouldy bathroom and very noisy from 6am, so didn’t get much sleep.
