"First time staying at the Hideaway and it was really lovely. Although a lot simpler than other resorts, what was a little lacking in style and upmarket facilities, was made up for by the staff and their friendliness, kindness, willingness to go above and beyond and hard work in keeping everything ticking over beautifully. In order to have a cheaper holiday, I opted for the most basic accommodation by choice. Yes it's a bit dated but the beds and pillows are comfortable. There are flasher bures available which I look forward to staying in next time. The grounds are lovely and the resort's own beach is really nice. I loved Happy Hour each evening and the quizzes. There's a concert every night after dinner. There are lots of activities available every day. Breakfast is included each day and there are plenty of food choices for lunch and dinner. I will be back to stay next year and I have no doubt that the staff will still remember my name :)"

"Wonderful Resort, 5 stars ….. The only thing to fault is how expensive it is for food and drinks in the resort. Cost is more then in Australia & there is no access to free filtered water during the hot weather. "

"Nanuku is a rare gem. It is a gated resort so it feels completely removed from the rest of the world. Also, as a single female traveler, it made me feel so safe to walk along the paths and beach after dark knowing that no one could enter the property without a reason. The room was beautiful. They have been refurbishing many of the rooms and I was in one of the newer ones. It was modern and I really appreciated having my own refigerator and a microwave. The best part of Nanuku is their staff!! The people who work here show the heart of Fiji every day. They welcome you like a chief and treated me like a queen. They also went out of their way to include me in activities even as a solo person. Many other places have minimums to take you snorkeling or paddle boards. Nanuku doesn’t. Since they have most of these activities on site, they were able to accomodate me for everything I wanted to do. I highly recommend this resort. "

"LOVED our stay at Maui Palms, which is a small and gorgeous place to rest and relax. Reef snorkeling right off the beach, fantastic staff members, good food (including gluten-free bread, which was a wonderful surprise for coeliac-me), filtered water on tap so no need to keep buying hideous plastic bottles of water, the beautiful Maui Jetty a short walk away, a beautiful pool and views to die for. What's not to love?!? Totally recommended :-)"
