The listing advertised wifi which was not available most of the time and when it was available, it was very weak and slow. The same can be said for the shower. Little to no hot water. Also, the picture in the listing is nothing like the room I was in. The picture showed a small refrigerator and in-room safe. Neither were present.
Only good thing is its close to the nakuru national park. Terrible.. Has great potential.. It needs major renovation. Tv could work. The food waa horrible...
Our hearts sank when we first arrived off the dusty streets, but what a surprise lay in store for us!! Kivu really is a tranquil oasis, leaving the madness of Nakuru behind. It has a beautiful garden with an incredible 20 meter swimming pool. The staff were so friendly, i really recommend this place if you are looking for a fantastic budget hotel. We are a family of 4, the children slept in a separate room to us (14&16), it felt very safe
Reception was efficient upon checking in, however failed to advise us on the amenities available and their location. Restaurant took a long time to cook our food and when it arrived it was very small portions. The rooms are very basic and the bathroom we had was tiny for the 4 persons we had sharing. Not every bed had a net, and the sheets had random stains on them. This resort is a budget resort and not bad if you're up for giving up some of your luxuries when going on safari.
Un des derniers hôtel de la ville proche de l'entrée du national park. Personnel très accueillant. Chambre grande et propre. Grande piscine très agréable.
