"It was relatively cheap but the hotel is quite old and dated. The buffet dinner and breakfast is good value for money. Note there is no shuttle bus from bus station to the hotel. The 7 minutes walk is hard if you have heavy luggage. "

"We stayed here for the ryokan experience and to visit the snow monkeys which we perfectly achieved. The dinner was a masterpiece with so many small dishes I couldn’t count. The staff were lovely and helped get us to the snow monkeys for opening time and arranged to collect us to drop us back to the station which was so appreciated."
