"Wonderful property in the French country side of Dordogne. Philip and Muriel were delightful hosts with a complete book showing everything you would want to know about the property and surrounding area (don't miss dinner at Auberge d"Imbue only 5 minutes away!) Very well appointed with everything you will need for a party of 3 (us) to a party of 20. Very nice, large kitchen with service for at least 15. Very well constructed and finished but still keeping the wooden beams and floors of the barn....

"A really lovely house which the photos don’t really do full justice to. The outside space and terrace were lovely and private. The pool area is tranquil with lovely views. Only a short drive to the nearest village which has everything you need. Perfect location for visiting castles, restaurants, beautiful villages. A week wasn’t long enough. We’d love to return. "We really enjoyed our stay and Alexis is the perfect host, he’s very responsive to all communication, even when the queries were probably inane! Like other comments, the gite has a bit of a strange layout but then that gives it character. Yes it’s on a main road but you soon ignore the noise. Everything is provided, the gite was very clean and the pool is a good size. I’d definitely recommend staying here"

"This is a lovely gite, set in a tranquil spot, well equipped and maintained - we had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. But most of all, Thierry and Régine were the most welcoming, generous and helpful hosts, and made our stay so memorable. We felt that we had made new friends... On a practical level: the stairs are steep, so not ideal for anyone with mobility issues; there's no washing machine (but we were offered the chance to use theirs); we really did feel as though we had the pool...

"The gite is lovely and oozes character - it's a special place. The pool is fantastic and there are plenty of loungers to be in the sun or shade. The BBQ area is great, as is the outside eating area. Dawn is a fantastic host. She was there to meet us and give us a good overview of the place. Easily contactable by text and very responsive. We had a great stay and would love to go back one day!"

"Gite was compact and comfortable, just what we needed for a 2 week stay. The hosts Karen and Steve met us when we arrived, were really friendly and gave suggestions of where to visit. The location was perfect, peaceful, but easy enough with a car to reach other places to visit. We will definitely return!"
