"The most perfect stay. The staff really do make the resort what it is and made us feel so welcome from the first minute until the last. Perfect location for snorkelling and kayaking. The view from the treetop bure was breathtaking although certain aspects of the room were a little tired and needed updating but this didn’t affect the trip at all. Would happily return to Nanuya."

"Idyllic island escape in a beautiful, secluded part of the Yasawa Islands. Made for those wanting to relax, recharge and switch off from the wider world. The staff were so welcoming, friendly and helpful in a wholly authentic way. The bures were extremely comfortable though were missing some inner curtain/blinds for added privacy (it felt that people could see inside quite easily - one small improvement we'd recommend!). Note there's no WiFi connection in the bures if this bothers you - you just have to go to the restaurant area for your connectivity. Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting the Fiji islands looking to relax and recharge. "

"We had 4 nights in Navotua villageIt was the highlight of our 3 week holiday Mele looked after our every need and genuinely cared for my husband who arrived at the stay with fish poisoning.We really felt the village surrounded him with love. Luckily he was able to see the doctor and avoided hospital. The Bure on the beach was perfect for rehabilitation,breezy,clean and comfortable. We had meals with a different family each time,always fresh and tasty,plenty of papaya and local delicacies.One time we even had lobster.The local crabs, custard pie and real coffee were the best. We made the most of the activities on offer. But best of all were the friendships we made with these beautiful people and the generosity of sharing their culture with us.Buka vinaka."

The amount of detail and preparation achieved in each area of the property, such as delicious food, entertainment, activities, and the overall appearance of the property. We travel the world, and we both agree that this property is managed extremely well. You will fall in love with the staff as they all greet you by your first name and make you feel welcomed throughout your entire stay visiting this beautiful beachfront property. "This is a small resort owned and run by Fijian family. It's very authentic, quiet and has beautiful settings. However it's not a "western style type resort." This is kinda like glamping with meals cooked for you. All you do is relax and enjoy the scenery :-) The bures are spacious and built in traditional Fijian style, including bathroom. Simple but practical. Minifridge was an unexpected bonus. We didn't find any insect throughout our 4 night stay. Our neighbours though had a cockroach and some spiders visited them. But that's expected even in higher end places in this tropical environment. Food was delicious and so well presented. They collect rain water which is safe to drink (we were fine but for our kid we treated it with tablets or bought bottled water). Free wifi by the main building. The trip to Blue Lagoon was a highlight. Best snorkelling spot, so many fish! ($40fjd) The trip to the caves is worth doing too. It's about 40 min boat ride one way and it can get bumpy. ($125 fjd) We really enjoyed our stay at Nabua Lodge. We will definitely be back!"
