"Maison et jardin très agréable; très propre à notre arrivée, et correspondant à l'annonce. Cependant, grosse surprise à notre accueil de nous demander 130 euros pour la prestation ménage de fin de séjour, qui n'était pas prévue à la réservation, et qu'il a fallu régler immédiatement. Selon les conseils d'Abritel, cette clause aurait dû être prévue dès la location et nous n'aurions pas dû la payer, le séjour étant réglé dans l'intégralité. Grosse contrariété pour commencer les vacances, dommage....

"We were a party of 5 young at heart seniors who enjoyed every minute. The accommodation was of a high standard and a lot of thought went into the detail to make our stay 5*. The beds were very comfortable and the ensuites immaculate. The weather at the time was hot and we made use of the lovely pool and aircon. The location was perfect, isolated and quiet, yet only 6km from a delightful village Monpazier. I hope we have the pleasure of returning again. Thank you Sonja & Mark"

"This is clearly a 5-star property both in a lovely removed, private setting yet mere steps from the old town. The cottage is lovingly crafted and very up to date. I was sorry not to have a "welcome notebook" with a history of the property as that would have been entirely fascinating. And although we figured everything out, a "user's guide" attached to that notebook would have been helpful. It is a spectacular property and was a joy to experience. "

"Beautiful villa , beautiful pool but partly my fault for not doing research properly. This villa is part of a working farm (sheep & goats) this caused major issues with flys I means loads of them so much so that you could not eat or drink outside in the beautiful sunshine. It really should be pointed out in the advertisement of this villa . Beware "

"La p'tite bergerie is a beautiful gite, and has everything you need to make your stay homely and comfortable. It is set in an absolutely lovely area, very peaceful and relaxing, but is ideally located to many other towns, villages and sights this part of the Dordogne has to offer. Beatrice and Remy are fantastic hosts and nothing is too much for them, we really felt a friendship has been formed, so much so that we will be returning in December to enjoy their gite at Christmas time...can't wait!...

La terrasse couverte permet de profiter de l’extérieur tout en étant protégé de la pluie et du soleil. La piscine est parfaite avec un grand store pour se protéger du soleil, très appréciable en cas de canicule. "This property is situated in a stunning area, slightly off the tourist track yet close to the Dordogne, Sarlat and the local large town Gourdon. The pool was a great size and our dog loved the adjoining meadow. The house was of a tradional style and had everything you could need with a well appointed kitchen and new appliances. Throughout Ana and Phillipe were attentive hosts and very helpful in providing information on how best to enjoy the area. We are already planning our return journey."

"We have had a disappointing experience with this vacation rental. All four of us have suffered from bed bugs. We initially thought we were dealing with mosquitoes. But the bites got so big and painful that it wasn't until later that we realized we were dealing with bed bugs. We complained about this to the landlord afterwards and it seemed only reasonable to us that they would refund half as our holiday enjoyment was seriously ruined. We have not received any response from the landlords."
