"Incredible location. 5 minute walk to metro, 5 minutes to Guggenheim. With the location I was able to travel to Guernica, the coast and all over town through metro and trains. The entrance from the street requires a code to unlock a gate - it is always closed at night but I found sometimes during the day it was closed."

"Small but all we needed, smart and stylish accommodation in lovely part of the old town. lots of bars and restaurants close by (we tried Gerrin - excellent modern twist on Basque trad. food). "Perfect small hotel in a wonderful location. I know there are some reviews stating people couldn't check in. We had no issues. We communicated once we landed in Spain our estimated ETA. Olats at the front desk was absolutely amazing. She gave us maps of the city, suggested sights to see, places to eat, and even gave us tips on transportation around Bermeo and to San Juan. "Bit of trouble accessing properly at first, as no access code came through!however it was sorted within 10min!by lovely memeb of staff!who worked in bar across road!!otherwise room/cleaning/was all good!Great shower!kitchen down below also good to have and washing machine and drying!only thing i have against is itz a 15 min away from central!so if you're looking to be bilbao itself??on a gd day!lovely walk along river!about 30min?i enjoyed walking along river!though a lot of changes going...
