INCREDIBLE as usual
This is the third time we have stayed here and it continues to be the best place to stay in Mystic. Its location to all the shops as well as the attractions is perfect. The view right on the water is nice and relaxing and just what a family needs to recharge from the craziness of life!! Gerard could not have been any more perfect. Thank you so much for an incredible stay.!

Excellent house , close to all the things we wanted to do
The house was beautiful and we really enjoyed exploring the town and walking to most places. There were toys for our child to play with and even books for her to read! The proximity to all the restaurants was our favorite part!

Very enjoyable family Christmas at Captain’s house in Mystic
This property made it easy for us to enjoy our time at Christmas - as family traveling from 3-5 hours away to be together. The location is great and the design and style of the home was a good fit for us, and was very accommodating. We look forward to staying again.

Great Location
We had a great time in Mystic to celebrate my brother getting married. You can't beat the location, minutes walk from downtown. Very nice historic home, exceeded everyone's expectations.

Beautiful stay
We stayed here for a birthday trip and it was such a special experience. The check in was a breeze and the host was very professional and kind. Everything was clean and the sheets and bedding were very nice and soft. The historic nature of the home was was made it the most special- we loved that it was kept intact and all the antique touches. It’s extremely close to the Main Street which is amazing- we could walk to the shops and restaurants easily and it’s still peaceful and quiet. A wonderful trip!

The perfect place to stay in Mystic!
We loved everything about the Captain's House in Mystic. The house was charming, with lots of period details and furnishings; at the same time, it provided every conceivable modern-day convenience. The house has a view of the Mystic Drawbridge and is just steps from all of the action in the town. Parking was provided onsite so we were able to walk to everything. The host was incredibly responsive to our questions and needs. We couldn't have picked a better place to stay. Big thanks to Gerard!!!

My mom, sister and I met in Mystic to celebrate a 50th birthday. The Captain’s House was so perfect. Every detail of the house is quite beautiful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We will return to Captain’s House next time we visit Mystic!

Great Mystic Location
Fantastic location to the shops and restaurants of Mystic. Home is spacious and well appointed, not to mention charming old New England feel. Owner went out of his way to make sure we checked in and had no problems.

AMAZING HOUSE
We had the greatest time at this house! The house is perfect, location is perfect and it's just such a great New England vibe. The house is roomy and has everything you need. The outdoor seating area is perfect for having coffee or just hanging with family or friends. The property manager was also very communicative and friendly.

Great House
A group of friends rented this home to celebrate our 75th birthdays. The listing accurately portrays this property which is tastefully furnished in early American deco and has a well appointed kitchen and baths. Our two favorite things were the table and and lawn chairs facing the Mystic River and the proximity to town, restaurants and shopping. We would definitely rent this home again.
