Not very many reviews for the Caravelle Resort through VERBO. So hotel is adequate.
Cleaning is sub-par at most. All doors and surfaces had not been cleaned and it was obvious. Came prepared with Clorox wipes because that was in another review. Didn’t haves bedding on third bed or in room. Went to check in office located across the street to get needed items and let them know room was dirty. Handed me bedding and did not address the room being dirty. Lamp on dresser didn’t work. Light above bed also burnt out. Lamp between beds was like a flashing strobe light the fittest night but also burnt out. Second morning went to make family coffee but guess what coffee pot doesn’t even heat up. Found room service and asked for bulbs and coffee pot. Was told they would get these items however, they never arrived. Not to worry you can eat breakfast at restaurant located on site. Advertised at $8.00 on website however, currently is$14.95. Listed on receipt as Covid-buffet. Mold in bathroom across from vending machines is multiple colors…avoid this area. Game room takes money and doesn’t return on multiple games. If your going to the beach bring your own towels.
Average Resort would not over pay for this place that’s for sure. Beds comfortable and shower is hot. Hey it’s the beach how can you not have a great time!
