Room,view, and Compass Cove was a great find. This room was totally updated. There was construction going on, wasn’t to bad. Heated pools and hot tubs everywhere. Our grandkids counted nine pools they were in. Will stay there again Thanks Dave And Nancy

We took a 5 day trip to Myrtle Beach to visit family and found a condo at Compass Cove Resorts offered by Big Fish Rentals. From first contact Julie and her team were wick to respond to any questions I had. The condo was new and clean, had everything we needed. Detailed instructions were given to what needed to be down at check out so there was never any questions. I would highly reommend renting form Big Fish Rentals, and when I am in the area next time I will be using their services again.

Thank you so much for an amazing weekend. The property was as described, comfortable, and clean. I wish I would've known before hand that I could pay extra to have it set up for our weekend away but that was my fault. I was not thrilled about cleaning up after paying a 130 cleaning fee but hopefully we cleaned up as well as expected. Thank you again for having us.

We really enjoyed our stay at Compass Cove Resort. Check-In and Check-Out was very easy and the resort had plenty of amenities and a nice play area for younger children.

I was concerned after reading reviews but the unit was clean. The furniture was not all stained. It was beach appropriate. The bed and Murphy bed were comfortable. The ocean view was great. The resort had nice pools and lazy river was enjoyable. Entertainment and food at the Crows Nest on the second floor was good. I would rent again. Good place for the price.

“ Newly remodeled” is far from accurate. New paint ( not well done) and new LVP flooring is all it seems that was done. Noisy as the condo is right across from the elevators. Building remodeling is constant 7 days all day. Fire alarms were being tested one day and they went on for hours! Fan in bathroom doesn’t keep the humidity out of the small bathroom. Two small bars of soap for two people for a week ! I’d suggest getting more modern lighting as the place is dark. Interesting electrical outlet on the soffit above the dining table. Update and get new furniture. Wouldn’t recommend staying at compass cove.

According to the listing this was a new property. It was not and it was an ok remodel. Also wrist bands need updated you can not open any doors. And there is only one key card. And a lot of the time if your separate the person without the card has to hope another guest lets you in. I do think the listing needs to be changed it’s misleading. But the resort overall is nice.

Room was nice. Enough space for everyone. I had to let owner know that the cleaning people left behind the prior peoples hair comb on the floor and floors were dirty. The tv was in French so it was unusable. The elevators and ice machine was outside the window next to bedroom. So if you go to bed before 2am, it’ll be loud. But aside from those few things, the condo was nice and big, the restaurant was priced well and quantity was good, drinks were cold and the amount of the pools they have is incredible. Also, The view is amazing.

We quickly reported that one set of sheets were dirty, and housekeeping told us they were stained, and directed us to change them if necessary. Later when we stated the room was so dirty, we could not stay, there was no attempt to assist us in any way. Instead, our checkout list was sent. Even when we requested a phone call (acknowledging we would not be refunded), I was not called. When I finally spoke with a representative, he claimed the room was indeed clean before we arrived. Afterwards, my phone number was blocked. In addition to filth in the room, the pool had “gooey” residue along the sides.

There were cigarette burn holes on the balcony carpet, this had obviously not been cleaned in months along with the balcony door tract. There was no coffee filters, no basic salt and pepper, the owners big fish rentals are trying to charge me for a broken sofa bed that I never even used as a bed. The whole building was sketchy to say the least. There were only 3 towels for a 4 day stay. All the rooms were dirty, there was a bug in the frozen ice tray, there was a dishwasher with no pods, the toilet rocked back and forth, the water went out four different times and they want to charge me 150 for an already broken down sofa!!! Ridiculous. I’ll never stay with big fish rentals again.

Condo was very clean! Host was great at communication with emails, texts, etc. The actual unit was a little challenging to find with the construction but it was also very late when we arrived. We had such a great time and barely heard any of the construction crew

Before you check in please be sure to record everything in the room from the moment you first walk in. We were charged for something missing that was not there from the beginning and since there wasn’t a list of items that would be there provided to us we were unaware to check for it. After checking out they charged us for the item and accused us of stealing it but the item was never there to begin with. After brining it to the companies attention, they started ignoring all of our calls, text and emails. The place was nice but customer service could’ve been alot better.

We stayed here for a long weekend, Thurs-Mon. On the Up Side: the access to the beach was great. The beach chairs & umbrella rental from the city of MB was easy & essential! The vew from the condo was amazing; however the smells that wafted up from other units and from the restaurant kitchen below made it a little challenging to sit out there and enjoy the view. On the Down Side: the main bed mattress was uncomfortably firm, with sheets that felt like sandpaper...very uncomfortable if you got too much sun that day! The bed pillows were the same. The tub shower was entertaining because it looked like a time capsule from 1982. Wine glasses on the open shelving were coated in dust and were sticky. The idea of the decor of the living area was appreciated, but the couch was stained on the cushions and the armrests, and the side of the couch closest to the sliding glass door was ripped near the bottom. For being listed as "newly redone", the condo definitely could already use a "refresh".
