"We had a fantastic stay here. Ken-San was exceptionally accommodating and welcoming. There was only one other guest staying at the same time as us, and Ken offered us the use of two rooms of our choice to better accommodate our family, free of charge. The guesthouse itself is about what you’d expect for the price, but it was very charming and it was easy to see that he’d put a lot of thought into modernizing the place. "This hotel is dated and has definitely seen better days. I had a non-smoking room that reeked of smoke :(. However, it was low cost and everything worked. The guy in reception was welcoming and friendly- made a particular effort to explain things, show me the free drinks in reception and hand me a tourist map. Location is walkable from centre (flat walk), but slightly further than ideal. Many dining options easily reached, but don’t expect much English spoken (have a translation app handy)."
