"The personal welcome was excellent and friendly. I called when I arrived and was guided into the secure parking in a nearby courtyard. The room was very clean. The location was very easy walking distance to the central street through town. Marie Cecile had clear guidance for restaurants, how to hike up to the castles, etc. Note: The beds are very firm. Note: If you have sensitive ears, it is next to the church, so..... church bells. The breakfast was generous, including home-squeezed juice...

"This property is close to the train station and a short walk to the Christmas Village. Our Rm#3 Terrace was large and airy. Nice to have space to spread out and relax. The breakfast was continental with a coffee machine that made all types. The proprietor was always around but we did not find her to be friendly or an engaging hostess. We would recommend! "

"We loved our 3-night stay in this B&B. Comfortable room in a historic and well-renovated farmhouse from 1730. Breakfast was nice, the hosts were very friendly and accommodating, and the B&B was very quiet in a small village with lots of walking trails around. Drive to Villé (town with shops and restaurants) was about 5 minutes. We will stay here again if we will visit the area next time."

She kept apologising for her English… but we had no problem she was very easy to understand and told us so much about the local area. She went above and beyond with us. "What I especially liked was the ability to park on the property, with is in an outlying village of the Strasbourg metropolitan area, and bus it into the city - there's a regular service, takes half an hour, cost €2.50. It's a unique sort of property, an enclosed series of buildings, half-timbered in style, repurposed to local uses and tourism. The host is as brilliant as other reviews note - nothing too much trouble. "
