The space
This four season 3 bedroom two storey cottage with a loft area is pure relaxation, located in a natural setting, with modern amenities and several entertaining areas to enjoy. The interior includes a large open concept area with a kitchen, dining area and great room with soaring 20' ceilings. Luxury furnishings, high-end appliances and a 70" smart TV adorn this south facing unique cottage, with extensive windows and skylights letting in natural light. All bedrooms and loft area have floor fans. The exterior boosts an expansive deck with a fireplace, plenty of outdoor seating, including a separate dining area and a comfortable lounging space with a top of the line Weber Genisis II LX propane BBQ. An oversized private dock at the waterfront lined with Muskoka chairs awaits you to enjoy your morning coffee or tea and get ready for sun and fun in Muskoka. Shallow shoreline access to the water and by a ladder off the end of the dock. The Moon River has great fishing with Muskie, Pike, Walleye and Bass.
Interaction with guests
Guests will have limited interaction with the owner, at check-in and check-out. The time spent at the cottage is intended to be private and serene. If activities and social events are of interest, then activities and festivals occur in town throughout the cottage-season. We are available during the day for questions and 24/7 for emergencies by phone.
The neighborhood
This Moon River gem is only a 10 minute drive to downtown Bala which is located on the convergence of Lake Muskoka and the Moon River. Enjoy the lovely sights and sounds of the famous Bala Falls, attend a concert at the Kee to Bala - a summer concert tradition since 1942, browse hip boutiques, shop for groceries, or dine in one of many restaurants.
