Retro Style Home in Honor Heights

This 1940's one bedroom home has so many lovely touches to it. It has been decorated with the 40's and 50's in mind. You will have everything you need to feel right at home. The home has a full kitchen, dining area, and washer & dryer. The home is located near the Veteran's Hospital and the famous Honor Heights Park. This is the perfect place for a traveling nurse or a doctor. Once booked, you will be given an access code for self check-in.

We are available if needed, but we like to give our guests their space by allowing self check-in and checkout.

The house is about a mile away from Honor Heights Park, a 132 acre botanical garden and arboretum, and the Five Civilized Tribes Museum which houses the art, history and culture of the Cherokee, Chickasaw, Choctaw, Muscogee, and Seminole tribes. Muskogee has several more attractions and unique shops that you will want to visit while in the area.
1. No Smoking of Any Kind Inside the Cabin: A $200 fine for violating this rule may be charge to guests.
2. No more than 7 guests in or on the property at any time. Violating this clause could lead to the immediate removal of all guests without refund.
3. Quiet hours are 10pm-8am. Guests will be notified if a noise complaint has been made. If noise continues, guests will be asked to leave with no refund.
4. Put things back where you found them.
5. Guests will be held responsible for any damaged or broken items.

Super sweet place
We really enjoyed our overnight stay in the retro home in Honor Heights. It was very convenient to the highway (69) we were traveling on through Muskogee, but without all of the noise and traffic of that strip. The house was very clean and just what we were looking for. We loved having mini-splits in each of the rooms so we could just cool down (or heat) the room we were in.

Quiet place!
We took a business trip to the area and I worked at the home while my spouse conducted meetings in town. It was a quiet place to work and getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city.

The outside is updated incredibly well. The outside is still a little run down looking. Was perfect for what we needed, but was super glad I wasn't needing the outside to be "fancy." I feel it is hidden by not having photos of the outside of the house posted.

Not fit to be a rental.
At first sight it looks like an adorable place but by the first night we were over it. Floors uneven and shower on a slope. Dryer didn't work on the last day. Electricity old. Plugs loose and windows are super old. Bad choice on mini splits as there is central heat and air. Owner was way to cheap to fix this up!!! Not fit at all. Makes Oklahoma look bad.

Everything was great As I was checking the room before leaving, I found a dark small towel in the bedroom between the wall and chair. I just moved it to the middle of the room. I did not just discard towels anywhere. Not a big deal

The house has a fun retro vibe that captures a bygone era, while offering modern comforts. Home is well-stocked and comfortable, in a quiet neighborhood setting. Highly recommended and much homier than hotel!

Great check in! Comfy clean inside. Roku automatically wiped login info. Fencing in backyard has a gap where dogs can escape so unless that is patched, this is not a free roaming backyard unfortunately. Overall safe and quiet historic neighborhood. Easy AC/Heat. We needed a place for just one night to attend a memorial service at Fort Gibson. We needed to bring our pup so a hotel wouldn’t do. We were grateful to find this place for a one night stay. Most Vacation rentals (including ours in Santa Fe, NM) require a longer stay.

This home was very clean and welcoming. We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend. The amenities provided were helpful. I was able to wash our laundry as we were traveling cross country. The hosts communicated via the app to make sure we checked in ok and everything was good. We would stay here again for sure.
