"The hostal is in a very convenient location in the historic district of Old Havana. We walked everywhere. The rooms are spacious and the A/C worked well. The staff was friendly and helpful, helping us carry suitcases and calling for cabs for us. "

"The apartment is right in the middle of the old town, so it's 5-10 minutes walk to all the interesting places around. Also, it's very quiet in the apartment. The interior is really nice and Adriana is very helpful host."

"Unique character with super friendly and helpful staff. Great location, easy to walk to the centre , just minutes away. This is Cuban with limited food in the country as a whole, so expect this reflectwd in the breakfast options (and in all restaurants in the country). Good place to stay if you want an authentic experience."

"Very friendly hosts. Rosmery and Christian were so helpful and made sure our stay was enjoyable. It was great staying in a casa to experience Cuban life. They arranged a tour in an antique car and suggested local restaurants. I will stay here again if I return to Havana."

"Luis is an exceptionally helpful owner, arranging and explaining everything for us on our first visit to Cuba. He organised taxis and made a booking at a very popular restaurant (San Cristobel), and advised us where to buy high quality Churchill-sized cigars (the National Hotel). The Casa is decorated in a completely unique way with many many collected items. Breakfast was excellent and extensive, just make sure you're clear if you want Americano style coffee if that's your preference over expresso! We also ate dinner in one evening and it was delicious and well presented. Our room (number 3) was very comfortable and quiet. The location was a 10 minute walk from the old town and main tourist area in an area where most of the buildings are sadly in need of major repair. We walked a lot during the day and night without feeling the slightest bit unsafe. We unreservedly recommend Casa 1932."
