"Lovely property, the pool was amazing. Paolo was so lovely, very happy, sweet man, he made everything so easy for us, Greeted us with pizza and ice cream and even played a bit of football with our three year old. The Villa is about 25 minutes drive to the town of Siracuse, and theres a little village 5 minutes drive away for groceries and a few restaurants so it was perfect for us, we wanted a peacful family holiday. Would recommend! Thankyou Paolo!!"

"We had the best time, the villa was spacious giving us plenty of room, the pool was large and warm. There was always somewhere for us to gather but also a place for us to chill. We would definitely recommend "

"Overall a lovely property. The pool is fantastic and great to come back to in the hot afternoons. There is a lovely outside area too where we spent most of our time. We moved the table to catch the evening breeze down the side of the house. Communication was easy and the owner came to meet us to drive to the property which was a bit out of the way. The only problem we had was the electrics tripping. I think there may have been a problem with the air conditioning unit in the main bedroom. The owner did call an electrian out and that helped. And the air conditioning unit seemed to work better after that too."

"The apartment is spacious and has a lovely shared pool area, which is used by other guests and the owner’s family. The owner was very responsive to messages and kindly allowed us to check in early, which we really appreciated. Any issues we had during our stay were promptly dealt with. Although there is air conditioning in the apartment it is only in the lounge/kitchen area and not the bedrooms, however we asked for a fan which was provided for us and was helpful. The apartment was not as well equipped as others we stayed at during our holiday and was lacking in some essential provisions e.g. there’s a dishwasher but no tablets were provided and only one toilet roll was provided for a 6 night stay. Location wise it is around 15 minutes to Syracusa, which is a beautiful city. There are a number of supermarkets within around 5 minutes by car from the apartment and it took c. 45 minutes by car from Catania airport. "

"We had a wonderful holiday at Paolo's villa. It is a real gem of a house with a wonderful pool, and great views right over the countryside towards Syracuse and the coast. The pool was exceptional and the shallow end was perfect for children. They loved it. Check in was smooth and Paolo was very helpful and quick with communication. The aircon in the house was ideal given the heat, and the kitchen/living space was huge, even with a pizza oven and we also enjoyed the BBQ outside. We also were grateful for the local reviews of good places in Floridia Paolo recommended for eating out. All great quality, friendly and good value. Thank you for a great stay!"

"We had a wonderful time in this villa, visiting in May, it really is outstanding. Inside it is stylish, with three very good bedrooms, a spacious living area and kitchen, and modern bathrooms. However, it is outside that this house stands apart form others we have visited. Outside, but really part of the house, is a dining and living area, shaded from the heat and where I suspect you will spend most of your time. Next to this is the tennis court which is in good condition with equipment provided, and in front there is a roofed area also for dining. Beyond this there is the best swimming pool we have ever had in a VRBO property, even in May this was warm enough to relax in, and the 'infinity' edges made the water a perfect mirror. The swimming area also has two high quality showers that make coming home to normal plumbing seem quite claustrophobic. The garden is bounded by orange and lemon trees, and completely private. It also has electric gates making the whole property feel very secure. Check in was easy, we appreciated the video-call with one of Ettore's relatives who has excellent English and talked us through the property, and Ettore himself was kind enough to invite us to a town function that was taking place that night. He contacted us several times during our stay to make sure we were happy with everything, and to advise us places to visit and eat. The villa was spotlessly clean and there was a generous welcome pack. Thank you for a wonderful stay"
