"Lovely property, the pool was amazing. Paolo was so lovely, very happy, sweet man, he made everything so easy for us, Greeted us with pizza and ice cream and even played a bit of football with our three year old. The Villa is about 25 minutes drive to the town of Siracuse, and theres a little village 5 minutes drive away for groceries and a few restaurants so it was perfect for us, we wanted a peacful family holiday. Would recommend! Thankyou Paolo!!"

"We had the best time, the villa was spacious giving us plenty of room, the pool was large and warm. There was always somewhere for us to gather but also a place for us to chill. We would definitely recommend "

"Overall a lovely property. The pool is fantastic and great to come back to in the hot afternoons. There is a lovely outside area too where we spent most of our time. We moved the table to catch the evening breeze down the side of the house. Communication was easy and the owner came to meet us to drive to the property which was a bit out of the way. The only problem we had was the electrics tripping. I think there may have been a problem with the air conditioning unit in the main bedroom. The owner did call an electrian out and that helped. And the air conditioning unit seemed to work better after that too."

"If you want a villa with gorgeous outdoors in the middle of nearly nowhere with absolutely zero privacy, dysfunctional AC, unreliable power supply and wifi and questionable bathroom cleanliness, this is your place! Disappointing and frustrating stay at this villa, to say the least. While the exteriors of the house are great, the constant power interruption (we could not even have two pans on the stove at the same time without the power shutting down) combined with the zillion video surveillance cameras outside and throughout the house made it utterly unpleasant and uncomfortable. To top it all off, the “owner” of the villa showed up, unannounced, and misrepresenting himself as the gardener at first, almost every single day. This was quite unsettling especially as we had young children on property. Not to mention the lack of hot water for the first three days… in summary, this property is being advertised at top dollar price and as luxury housing but falls very short at delivering on the basic commodities that one would expect during its vacation aka electricity, hot water, basic cleanliness and most importantly privacy! Not worth the price at all and left a sour taste in our mouth of what should have been a lovely relaxing vacation. "

"The apartment is spacious and has a lovely shared pool area, which is used by other guests and the owner’s family. The owner was very responsive to messages and kindly allowed us to check in early, which we really appreciated. Any issues we had during our stay were promptly dealt with. Although there is air conditioning in the apartment it is only in the lounge/kitchen area and not the bedrooms, however we asked for a fan which was provided for us and was helpful. The apartment was not as well equipped as others we stayed at during our holiday and was lacking in some essential provisions e.g. there’s a dishwasher but no tablets were provided and only one toilet roll was provided for a 6 night stay. Location wise it is around 15 minutes to Syracusa, which is a beautiful city. There are a number of supermarkets within around 5 minutes by car from the apartment and it took c. 45 minutes by car from Catania airport. "

"We had a wonderful holiday at Paolo's villa. It is a real gem of a house with a wonderful pool, and great views right over the countryside towards Syracuse and the coast. The pool was exceptional and the shallow end was perfect for children. They loved it. Check in was smooth and Paolo was very helpful and quick with communication. The aircon in the house was ideal given the heat, and the kitchen/living space was huge, even with a pizza oven and we also enjoyed the BBQ outside. We also were grateful for the local reviews of good places in Floridia Paolo recommended for eating out. All great quality, friendly and good value. Thank you for a great stay!"

"Definitely not a 5 or 4 star. It felt like they stop on their way to finish the whole thing. It is nice but not nice. No pry told us check out is at 10 AM (I mean I travel non stop and NEVER saw a hotel with check out at 10. They wanted to charge us cause we left a few minutes late… since they didn’t tell us. Finally dinner was basic and overpriced. I would say 3 stars at max. I suggest you go elsewhere. Very hard to get too. "
