The hotel staff was courteous and the dining options were satisfactory. However, the rooms need a lot of work. The standard rooms are very much outdated and in need of a lot of maintenance, while the updated rooms suffer from humidity and a musty odor that permeates the corridors. Overall, our stay was mediocre at best, but the pleasant demeanor of the staff somewhat compensated for the shortcomings.

The property was nice overall, what I didn’t like was that the water came out with a noticeable tint, probably from bad pipes. I also wasn’t to crazy about having a room facing a busy street. The sounds of traffic woke us up a bit.

It was an amazing stay meeting wonderful people like Reshma and Idrees. Very accommodating and made sure everything was fine with our stay. We decided to extend because of their generosity with time and services. Highly recommended and will definitely come back!

Nice property within easy walking distance of Ruwi bus station. This allows easy access to many sites within Muscat. However, not much in the way of supermarkets or restaurants nearby, you need to walk a bit further

Situated quite near the Corniche and Old Town, this hotel was perfect for us. The Executive Suite was large, spacious and comfortable with a separate small kitchen offering a fridge/freezer, kettle and cooker (but no equipment for cooking with !) The staff were very pleasant and helpful and the breakfast was great. A rooftop swimming pool and gym were an added bonus. We used the OTAXI app to get taxis - same as Uber - cheap and reliable. Would highly recommend

Lovely hotel in Oman
Great hotel in the business area.very comfortable room with separate lounge with TV, basic mini bar as Oman is a dry country although you can get some alcohol in some hotels but not in Hera Hotel, not a problem for me. I cannot comment on the Breakfast as I missed it both days due to early travel arrangements. Taxi's plentiful and reasonably cheap. I recommend this hotel.
