"This property has been frailly recently updated and the beds, kitchenette and bathroom in our unit were good. What was a big disappointment was the attitude of the staff--starting with an incompetent and surly check-in by the hotel's bartender -- we had paid for a third person and bed but he tried to charge us again for that extra. "7 minute walk from the train station, sort of midpoint between the station and the canal area, right by the shopping mall. Which makes this location walkable. Plenty of bars, cafes and eateries near by although I was there on Christmas eve and lest things were shutting down I got a takeout from the food court in the mall. Shower- nice and hot, good pressure. Noise- given my room faced the main street the insulation was surprisingly good. I did hear some street noise but mostly sound proof...

"This villa was perfect for our needs. Two families of 8 people with teenage and adult daughters of 15, 15, 17 and 19 years. An amazing pool to cool down in that is a reasonable size for games, yet heated at the right temperature for the cooler, cloudier mornings. We hope the next group enjoy the inflatables we left as much as we did! "Our stay at Casa de Muranzel provided a perfect place for relaxation and exploring the village of Torreira. It was also a great jumping off place for exploring further afield… a short trip to Aveiro and one hour drive to Porto. We all loved coming back to the house for a swim in the pool! Pedro was a warm and welcoming host. We appreciated his information about exploring local sights and restaurants. We would definitely recommend his lovely house to family and friends!"
