"We spent the week of Christmas here and had a great time! While other cabins we've stayed in at Christmas were decorated, this one was not but we brought all our presents so it still felt festive. I would however, highly recommend not arriving after dark as we did! We drove from Mississippi and had about a 7 hour drive. Traffic was very bad coming thru Atlanta which put us behind. We had a hard time finding the cabin in the dark - but that was our fault! Would've been a breeze driving to it...

"The cabin was clean and tidy, everything worked except for the hot tub, which was disappointing as the hot tub was one of the reasons we had booked the cabin. The owners called for a repair but it was a holiday weekend and I don’t think a repair was feasible due to the holiday."

"I’ll start by saying do not follow the GPS when arriving from Florida. Do not be like us, follow the directions that are given. We ended up on a dirt road in the dark with cliffs on both sides of us. We should have listened. When we arrived, alive and well, the property exceeded our expectations. A literal cabin in the woods, minutes from town. We stayed for 3 nights. On our second day it was rainy and I couldn’t have been more grateful for the rain. We loved being a little outside of town where it was much quieter but were close enough to where we could go enjoy a day in Helen. I didn't have any information about how to get keys and find out where my unit was located. Had the flag down another guest who told me about going into a unmanned guard house to get an envelope with instructions and a key. Without her info, I wouldn't have had any way of checking in.
