"I liked the view of the lake from the hotel, and the breakfast was really good."

"I stayed here for 2 nights in 4 days, same room both times so cannot comment on different room types. From the moment you walk through the entrance the welcome is very warm. Check-in quick and very friendly, glass of bubbly if that floats your boat. The hotel has the feel of a grand country house with generously sized rooms, a separate closet/ room for clothing etc and a good-sized bathroom. Bed very comfortable, pillows soft but a bit slim but there are spares in the room so all good. Checkout just as quick with the offer of a bottle of water for the journey. I didn't eat in the hotel so unable to comment on the restaurant. Overall, lovely hotel which is very well located by the lake, with a very friendly set of staff. Highly recommended."

"At the heart of the old town. The hotel would provide you with the city pass (free) with access to all museums and local transpositions (buses and trains) in the same surroundings. Do not miss to go to La Chaucer-de-Fonda for the international Time museum. A must see. Highly recommend the place. "

"Handy being 30 seconds away from train station. Not much in area as far as bars or restaurants. No bar in hotel either. Beautiful views of lake from room though. "

"The motel is virtually connected to the train station making it very convenient. All facilities are modern, in good condition, and very clean. There are quite a few restaurants and other services within easy walking distance. We are thinking of extending our stay for two more nights because of the central location in western Switzerland. If you are not familiar with the Swiss transit system of trains, boats and busses, it is amazingly easy to navigate— and this hotel is less expensive than others in the more iconic visitor destinations. "
