This property looks like it is in the middle of deconstruction and construction. There are debris piles however, the grass was recently mowed, my tent was cool and clean, my linens and towels were clean. The common bathroom was clean. An employee responded quickly to my concern about a wasp nest. No one encroached on our space. It was me and my grandson and I felt comfortable and safe. I would and will stay here again. Proximity to the Crater of Diamonds, town and the Indian historical site couldn't have been better. Truth is, once settled we loved it.
We got to the location and the person showing us our tent acted like we were a bother. Then, it took over 30 minutes to figure out why the electricity wasn't working. The air conditioner did not work and it was hotter in the tent than outside, which was 97 degrees that day with no breeze! When I emailed asking if we could switch, I didn't receive a reply. After I emailed and said we left, I got a snarky email back from the host saying I should've let them know so they could fix it and the people staying in there before us didn't have a problem with the air conditioning. We had to go rent a motel room instead. No one we know will EVER stay in those!!

Beautiful place and view for short stay. The air conditioning was not on, it was set to heat when we arrived. Tent was hot. We have contacted the host and let her know. My husband figured out the air conditioner set it to cool and he went around closing all of the windows. The tent was just clean and all the window cover was open. The place was dusty, fan has animal and human red hair all in it. Fridge has hair and some mold. I had wiped it up and dusted the toaster, removed pine needles out of it and cleaned coffee maker. There was no mug as seen on photot and amenities listed online. After couple hours the tent was cool but the cleaning product the used smells in the tent the whole time we were their. All in all the stay was nice since we only stayed 2 nights.
Bathroom/Restroom: You can tell they don't really clean much nor dust. Only take trash, swipe and replenish the supplies. The restroom smells like urine and the same poop mark in the toilet has been there the 3 days we were there. Shower could be cleaner with working cold water knob in the one bathroom.
The 1 bed side table between both beds has white paint and dust all on it.
It would have been nice to walk into cold tent and not hot with cleaning products smell but it average due to little things we had to do.
Locate is great not far from places to eat and are local rock stores in town.
We would it this place 5 stars.
Thank you.
