"If you arrive at Malé Airport, you’ll need to book a seaplane through You&Me, which will take you to the island. The resort has a dedicated seaplane lounge with drinks and snacks, and a resort rep will meet you on arrival and departure. At You&Me, we were warmly welcomed with cold cloths and a welcome drink. The island is small; a buggy tour only takes a few minutes, and you can walk around it in about 15-20 minutes. We stayed in Dolphin Villa with pool (number 509), with direct access to the sea and a private pool to cool off afterward—perfect for sunset views and photos. Villas on the opposite side face sunrise but don’t have pools. The room was great and cleaned twice daily by excellent staff. The only downside was the loud air conditioning; the fan above the bed wasn’t comfortable to leave on overnight. We recommend booking all-inclusive, covering most restaurants except H20. Some items aren’t part of all-inclusive, so be sure to ask. There are five restaurants: • Sands – Main restaurant, no reservation needed; set menu with daily specials, open for breakfast and dinner. • Green Carpet – Poolside lunch and drinks, no reservation needed. • La Pasta – Italian food, great pizza and tiramisu; reservations required. • Rising Sun – Teppanyaki with a chef cooking in front of you; fun and delicious. • H20 – Underwater restaurant with amazing views. There’s plenty to do, including free scuba lessons, kayak rentals, and water sports. Overall, a magical place!"

"The staff was amazing. They had amazing activities that were included in our stay like a dolphin cruise. They also had very responsibly priced activities like scuba diving and snorkeling that me and my husband enjoyed. Who doesn’t love to swim with a sea turtle?!?! Even when it rained the water was still beautiful. So much to do and so many places to relax. Wish we would have stayed longer. "

"We had a fantastic stay at Furaveri Hotel for our honeymoon and my wife’s birthday. The transfer from the airport to the resort was smooth, and the lounge at the seaplane terminal made the wait comfortable. Our room was beautifully decorated for our honeymoon, and they delayed the cake to celebrate my wife’s birthday, which was a thoughtful touch. While we didn’t get an upgrade as Expedia Gold members, the hotel allowed us a late checkout, which we appreciated. Travelers should be cautious about adjusting to new food, as my wife got sick during the first days. However, the staff kindly rescheduled a missed meal for our last day. The resort is large, and buggies are available, though they may run less frequently in the evening. One suggestion would be to clarify the food and drink packages (too many packages with different inclusions) as they were a bit confusing. A special thanks to Dhaadh, who made our stay unforgettable."

"We had such a memorable honeymoon at this stunning resort, full of extremely kind staff who go out of their way to make you feel at home and comfortable. My wife lost her wedding ring one evening and the entire resort staff - from our main host, Kunal, to the room maintenance team and the security manager - went out of their way to help us find the ring, and to our utmost surprise and happiness, the staff actually succeeded in finding the ring the next day. We cannot recommend with any more enthusiasm this fabulous resort, for its extremely nice room, restaurants, activities, and most of all the kindest staff I’ve ever met. We extend our sincere appreciation to our main host Kunal, the security manager Anwar, our room maintenance host Imaad, and the restaurant staffs including Nuwan and Vicky. When we visit Maldives again in the future, we would definitely stay at Emerald Faarufushi again and we have already recommend this resort to all of our friends who are considering vacation to Maldives. 100/100 stunning experience, period."
