"I traveled to central Java as a solo female to run Borobudur marathon. There are several 5 star resorts in the area, I spent a significant amount of time making a decision and I am now more than happy with my hotel choice, Le Temple Borobudur. The grounds are immaculate, designed to perfection with a piece of art or plant or just another unique stupa at every corner, an ideal place for a short mindful walk to start or to end your day. Le Table, is probably the most serene and beautifully decorated restaurant I have ever been. The staff was very professional, yet friendly and relaxed, willing to accommodate all my food requests, also very knowledgeable and informative about Javanese cuisine. Rishma, in particular, was very kind and attentive, she made my meal time a true calming and mindful experience. The complimentary afternoon tea is absolutely to not be missed, I enjoyed it in silence in the privacy of my beautiful stupa or on the rooftop of the restaurant, alone, while taking in the 360 °stunning greenery of the valley. It was delightful to finally meet Kiki, guest relations officer, after months of excellent online communication. She was flexible and patient, she also made pre arrangements for all my activities and she ensured prompt and high quality transportation. "Stayed there before catching our flight the following morning. Right from check in to check out, we were treated exceptionally courteously by each and every staff member with always a smile on their faces. We had a steak dinner and drinks at their rooftop lounge and the steak was prepared exactly to the specs we had asked for. Next day we took a free shuttle to the airport. I highly recommend this place and would without a doubt stay here again in our future trips to Jogja. Thanks to all the staff members for making our stay great!!"

"Absolutely gorgeous views all around the property. Staff is kind and attentive. Room a little small but doable. Property looks new. Very well maintained. We didn’t have much luck with the food but it may be because our taste buds are different. If you are here do get a massage. It was the best massage I had outside of Thailand. My neck pain is gone and I’m happy. "

"It’s a place where one can plan a variety activities and they will assist you, or one could just sit for hours looking out across the valley. Either way one will come away with an experience. The attention to detail with regard to the rooms and the resort itself was remarkable. It shows a tremendous care for the resort and for the guest’s experience. "The property Towels were hard and dirty, The room had small roaches which is what it is your in a jungle ! Mosquito’s the worst was the outdoor light never turned of it was like sleeping with sonar lights on it seemed like it was morning but it was midnight, Turn off the lights outside OFF, C’mon you get what you pay for- Update your jogolo’s ac made weird noises at night, But the interesting thing was you could get Netflix Welcome to Borabodur "
