"We loved staying in Andrea and Rolf’s apartment. They were so friendly before and during our stay. The apartment was spacious, clean and had everything we needed. The garden was amazing, such a great space for enjoying the pool and outside dining area. We found the location fine for travelling to the beautiful Black Forest sights and attractions."

"We had actually booked the Lowen Hotel in Staufen, but were moved to the Goethe because they said they wouldn't be able to serve breakfast at the Lowen due to a staffing issue. Was disappointing as we were really looking forward to staying there. The Goethe is ok. A bit tired and old fashioned looking. Rooms are clean & the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was ok, but you cannot choose your cheese & meats, they bring you a platter. We would have preferred to choose our own. Not great quality bread rolls, either. Nice coffee & a good selection of cereals/yogurt. As this is an older hotel, there is no lift & we struggled to carry our heavy cases up the stairs. Overall was ok but probably wouldn't stay again."
