"Awesome place, Jasper was the best host… carried our bags up the many steep flights of stairs! The goodies provided in the fridge were a thoughtful tasty touch. The area is quiet, walkable with many dining options close by. Also the Metro is only 5 minutes away! Highly recommend!"

"This property was centrally located so that everything in Amsterdam was a short walk away. The host David was so welcoming! The stairs getting to the rooms are no joke, but I knew that going in. Some reviewers have complained about them but Davids's property description is straightforward and indicates the property is not handicap accessible so do your homework and don't underestimate it. Our stay was wonderful, and we would absolutely book here again."

It is accessed up communal steep staircase from a main front door and is annexed to the main hotel next door. The apartment overlooks a very picturesque canal, which is the best feature together with the sizeable open plan living / dining / kitchen area. It has a comfortable double bedroom and a wet room. "The place was great. It was very convenient and we were able to walk to wherever we needed. The room was a good size and the bed was very comfortable. I would say that if you’re a light sleeper this may not be the spot for you. You can definitely hear the owners above the room when they’re walking and coming down the stairs in the morning, but if that doesn’t bother you (didn’t bother us) it’s a great place to stay! "

"Beautiful room with excellent facilities. Very handy for the centre of Amsterdam and easy to get to from the airport. Trams every 4 minutes to the centre. Gerry Petra’s husband was great and told us a lot about the area and could not have been more helpful. The house is perfect to stay in in a quiet street right next to Vondelpark. We shall definitely come back and look forward to doing so very soon. An altogether wonderful experience. "

"Great hotel - service was excellent for our 4 night stay. Hotel staff, especially all at the front desk are very pleasant and happy to assist. Location is perfect for getting around with the Central train station a 10 min easy walk away. Hotel is spotless, beds are very comfortable, and very quiet. The buffet breakfast is also great value and would recommend for some breakfasts. Great bike rental right across the street from the main entrance (highly recommend this mode of transportation) in Amsterdam! Overall 10/10 hotel with zero complaints! We will stay here again on our next visit. "
