"Room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast had a good range of hot and cold food. Staff were great. Location is close to train station and easy to get to main attractions. I felt safe walking alone to and from hotel in evenings though i was usually back to the hotel by 9pm. Trams run past hotel which light sleepers may hear."

"When traveling to Munich, I was more concerned about location than amenities and when I decided to stay at Platzl Hotel, I didn’t expect much for what I paid in comparison to other hotels nearby. What an amazing find and I would recommend for anyone to stay here. It’s such a great value based on its location and amenities. The room is extremely clean, there’s excellent service, a lively bar downstairs and a sauna after a cold, wintry day. It’s in Marienplatz and therefore close to the subway line, but completely walkable with tons of restaurants and high end boutiques for some retail therapy. I’m extremely happy with this hotel. We would love to stay here again. "

"What a great find in Munich. First off, it's only a couple blocks from München Hbf (Munich Central Train Station) and from the Old Town where you'll see most of the tourist spots. The room was perfect sized for us with a nice walk-in shower. The biggest plus was the staff manning the front of house. Even though check-in/check-out is automated, the front of house staff was unbelievably helpful with getting us the layout of the hotel and of our neighborhood. Highly recommended!"
