Cons:
1. Cockroach in the room.
2. Commode not clean; I had to sanitise it with hot water.
3. There is a small geyser / boiler in the bathroom which is controlled by reception; one has to call reception for it to be switched on. There is no provision in the bathroom to keep toiletries (toothbrush, toothpaste, shaving kit). Commode flush discharges water at a very low pressure; a bucket has to be filled and used to flush the commode.
4. Room window air conditioner is in the corner and is difficult to remotely regulate while lying in bed.
5. A window curtain, over the air conditioner cannot be drawn shut, as otherwise the window air conditioner vent gets blocked.
6. Not a single hook in the room or wardrobe to hang clothes. There is a towel rack with four hooks in the bathtoom; but obviously, not for hanging jeans.
7. Breakfast:
• A tablespoon is given to stir sugar in the coffee / tea; I was told that the teaspoons are damaged.
• Quantity is not consistent.
7. BBC WORLD, CNN International and RT news channels are not available.
Pros:
1. Walking distance to the main road.
2. Eateries, restaurants, bars, bank ATMs and chemists are within walking distance.
3. Most of the staff were polite and courteous.
4. Metro and train station is not far away.
5. Bed is comfortable; so one can sleep well.
Not worth the ₹ 1960 per night I paid.
