This house is such a gem! We loved it…the house itself, the layout, its comfort, and its location. Everything is made simple from the check in to check out. We enjoyed a great ski getaway. Thank you.
Cute place - nice to have a place to stay in Mullan
The place is cute and convenient. The only reason why I'm marking down for cleanliness is because one of the beds had dirty sheets... I think whoever stayed before us made the bed and didn't strip it like they were supposed to. However, whoever cleaned would have easily noticed if they checked. We had to improvise the first night but we washed all of the bedding before our 2nd night. Everything else was great!
We enjoyed our time at this property located in a very quiet neighborhood. Plenty of towels, extra pillows, and comfy beds. There was also a good supply of shampoo, conditioner, body wash, laundry and dishwasher detergent, and dishwashing liquid. There were no extra trash bags, but that could have been an oversight. Our family of 6 adults and 1 infant were quite comfortable. Unless you have married couples (or couples that sleep together) it would be difficult to sleep many more than that comfortably .
The house was a great basic home. Was slightly disappointed that the one room with a twin bed was a bed in a nook in the wall along the hallway. There is no way to sleep 12! You could sleep 10 if 2 people on futon. Also bring EVERYTHING you may need. There wasn't dish soap for dishes, scrubby for dishes, extra paper towels (we had a partial roll and had to buy more), kitchen wash clothes/disinfectant wipes to clean counters/table, any kitchen spices or extras. They did have utensils and plates but everything else be prepared to bring. Did find one bathroom dirty upon entering but could be an honest mistake.
Perfect location to get to Lookout Pass to ride the Hiawatha Trail and Wallace, Idaho. Great open kitchen with big fridge for all our food! Easy to find!
Good spot for anyone biking the Hiawatha or visiting Wallace
The house was just what we needed while we spent a couple nights visiting the area. It was during a heat wave so we had to use 2 fans plus the swamp cooler to keep us cool at night, but it was unseasonably hot so there’s not much you can do! The comfy, spacious living room was great for relaxing after a day of exploring. We sure loved the scenery out the windows and front door too!

Hel
The house must have been shut up because there was a stale, unpleasant odor. There were small details that need to be addressed; burnt out light bulbs in the bathroom, broken blinds in the living room. No coffee. No curb appeal. One deck board the nails have pulled out, causing a tripping hazard.

Clean but not comfotable
The home itself was very clean but lacking it almost every other area. The beds are a foam mattress with a cheap comforter thrown over the top . There are 2 bathrooms but only 1shower. The worst part was the view from the front porch . The neighbors across a small street live in a dilapidated home that looks like a junk yard. There is no outside space at all! !

La casa es muy cómoda. Con muchas amenidades para pasar la tarde después de esquiar.
Muy cerca de Lookout.
Nice house, its old but most of the houses in Mullan/the area are. It has everything we needed for the weekend. Close to trails and right in town. I would stay again and would recommend.
Great and easy check in and out procedure. They are very organized with their cute home and lay out all the information you need. The only slight issue I’d see would be in the winter getting up their steep driveway to park but in the summer it wasn’t a huge issue for our vehicle. Thanks for a lovely stay!
Given that there is nothing much closer to the trail head to Hiawatha then Mullan - this is a completely adequate place to stay. Home is definitely older, and with that comes lots of creaks and a very noticeable slant to the floors, ceilings and doorways etc. but finishes were newer, kitchen was plenty big enough and clean to prep meals. Was rather warm our first night and took some time to cool down with no A/C. Home itself and exterior need a little more updates, but overall not a bad place to spend a night or two to be close to the Bike trails if that's what you plan to do. Neighborhood is a little run down, but we had no specific issues with anyone or anything while there. To note: bring your own coffee, some extra garbage bags, and ICE and water as the filtered water on the fridge is not plumbed.
stayed for 2 nights biking hiawatha and trail of the coeur dalenes. great kitchen, clean, sharp knives and fresh cookware. could use another baking sheet. perfect location for biking.
would recommend fixing back door so it opens outward. it currently swings inward straight into narrow hall and blocks entry into home —design flaw.
