"We loved staying here. It is an adorable little home, decorated so fun. We stayed on a cold december night. I wouldve given it 5 stars but the heat was turned way down and didnt get warm by the time we had to leave as we were only there less than 8 hours. But the drier was a perfect way to preheat my clothes before heading back to our journey. I would reccomend this cute little house. Maybe stop and turn up the heat before you plan to jump in bed.in the summer this will be a perfect stay."

"We have been renting vacation properties for 25 years, including all over the So IL/Shawnee area, and this cabin, and its location, is by far our favorite in the area! Allison is WONDERFUL and worked w our needs for our stay (we had to make last minute reservations to attend funeral services). Gorgeous home, gorgeous property, even better owners. "Family and two dogs traveled from Maryland to celebrate my Grandmother’s 90th birthday in DuQuoin. Perfect place for our family and dogs to unwind after a long drive. Very clean. Had everything we needed. I honestly do not know if there was a lakefront. We were on the move when we weren’t sleeping. "
