My son and I knew this was the perfect place for our getaway.Nestled at 9,200 feet in the Colorado mountains, the cabin offered both seclusion and easy access to local attractions. The breathtaking scenery truly took our breath away. It was the perfect escape from our busy lives; the peace and quiet we craved were readily available.As advertised, the cabin had everything we needed for a comfortable stay (just bring your food, clothes, and yourselves!). Charming and well-maintained, it boasted a spacious living area, comfortable bedrooms, and a rustic, homey feel. The deck was ideal for both daytime relaxation and nighttime stargazing. We made good use of the well-equipped kitchen, preparing delicious meals daily.The owners had thought of everything, providing extra blankets, towels, and a wide selection of movies and games. While it was just my son and me, I noted the abundance of games—perfect for families with children.Mornings on the deck were magical. Waking to the sounds of nature and those incredible mountain views was pure tranquility. Nearby, we explored Mueller State Park with its distant mountain vistas, and Eleven Mile State Park, where we witnessed brave souls ice fishing on the frozen lake. We also visited charming mountain towns like Cripple Creek (and its impressive ice sculptures) and, of course, Pikes Peak and Gar"

"We chose to stay at Paws in Pines for our anniversary, and everything was absolutely perfect. The check in process was seamless, and our hosts had wine and treats for our dogs! The entire cabin is so cozy, and obviously loved. We really couldn’t ask for a better experience, and look forward to returning in the summer. Thank you for a wonderful weekend!"

"The property is quaint and cozy with beautiful views and evidence of wildlife galore. The personality of the cabin is charming, and the amenities plentiful. Additionally the cabin is within minutes of local businesses, restaurants, and breweries.Robin was a wonderful host - we stayed during an unusual and brutally cold weather pattern and Robin went out of the way to make sure we were safe and enjoying our time. It was a simply amazing experience and we can’t wait to return!"

"The stay was great! Clean linens, the hot tub was working great. Despite previous reviews we read, the hot tub was working and hot when we arrived. The host was very considerate and fair. Rules were pretty clear and fair. If you're looking for a get away this is a great place to stay! My only small complaint is the internet was a bit slow and lag from time to time. So if you're streaming music for example, it would lag. Besides that, the place is big and cozy! Basement was big! "
