Winter girls weekend away
We booked Henry's Bastille for a girls weekend away . The property was beyond our expectations and was beautifully decorated and really appreciated the historic style of house with a luxurious feel. The ducted air/heating meant the house stayed toasty warm. The location was fantastic only 1 block back from main street and meant we could walk to cafes pubs and restaurants. The host Julie has done an exceptional job in curating this property to really give anyone staying there a special experience- from booking through to checkout Julie was great to deal with and offered suggestions for cafes and restaurants which was great. If we travel back to Mudgee I will be booking here again.

An absolutely beautiful house. Everything you need and more. Perfect location. Extremely clean and tidy. Julie provided on point communication and instructions. I would not hesitate in recommending Henry's Bastille for the perfect holiday stay. I hope to return again :)

In one word as others have said this is a WOW moment. The attention to all aspects of the accommodation outstanding. Everything was spotlessly clean, the detailing was perfect. The kitchen is fully functioning. No need to bring pots and pans from home or knives. Everything was clean and working. Location perfect.

Our weekend in Mudgee was fantastic, great weather, nice places to visit, great company and best part of it all was this absolutely delightful home. It was fantastic walking in and finding something so well present and it was obvious to us all that Julie is very proud of her home. Super convenient location. This is a beautiful property that has been lovingly decorated. The kitchen is really well kitted out. Ample supply of towels and bedding. Really really clean. One of the nicest houses we have stayed in. Highly recommend for group of friends or a family.

All you could need.
Lovingly decorated and warm house in centre of Mudgee within walking distance to main shopping area and cafes. The kitchen was well stocked with the usual items but also extras such as fresh milk, bottled water, snacks and treats. I would definitely recommend this property for 3 couples. Myself and my family stayed for my 40th and just loved the house from the moment we walked into Julies beautiful house. It was perfect! Everything was there that we needed and more. A fabulous stay here. The property has large rooms dating I would say from 1910's, renovated 2017-2019?. Beautifully appointed, generous supplies, clean and fresh conditions, friendly owner, good location close in town. Nothing to fault. Happy to recommend in full

Fabulous property and wonderful host
This is a beautiful house lovingly styled with bespoke country furniture and decorative pieces. It is located about 5 minutes walk from the centre of town. The host Jules generously provided welcoming touches such as a selection of teas, chocolates and refrigerated treats. The house was warm, the beds were comfortable and the living spaces were inviting. On what was a rain soaked weekend throughout much of NSW our stay in this lovely house in Mudgee was an absolute pleasure.

We absolutely love our stay! everything you could possibly need was in this house, from phone charges to milk in the fridge and fresh flowers as we step through the front door! and also receive local knowledge from Julie which was very helpful We booked for our Daughters wedding and Unfortunately didn’t get to spend much time at the house but we will return, not sure why you would stay at a motel when you can stay at a beautiful place like this. We just loved staying at Jules’ property. It is decorated beautifully. There is anything you could ever need to stay at the property.
