"The sliding door to the room leads to a shared balcony with other rooms. Well the door was not secure, the locking mechanism was cheap and bent and could easily be opened by pushing it which puts valuables at risk for being stolen. That is my only complaint"

Additionally, the soundproof windows provide a serene environment, even for rooms facing the bustling Oginga Odinga Street. "I stayed at the property for one week. The rooms were spacious but dated. Some fixtures need to be replaced (stained carpets, mosquito netting, shower curtains). Appeared to be mold on bathroom ceiling, and dead insect in bathroom on check-in. However, staff extremely friendly and restaurant was very good, although expensive by local standards. Wifi was sometimes inconsistent. Overall, I rate stay as average."
