"This was truly a home away from home experience. The property itself is so tastefully renovated and has a true French country feeling. The owner and her family are so warm and friendly. "Could not expect such a great place and such a cordial reception after driving a couple hours up and up… Nicely respirated previously abandoned house became a cozy home for the owners and for us! We had only 1 night, if I knew, I would booked a week. The stone walls of this small village smell history… Nice cozy room, clean, quiet… only heard old church bell at 6am, was sleeping like a baby! "First off, the woman who opened up the villa was extremely rude and only showed my daughter in law around the villa, insisting everyone else should wait outside. Afer 15 minutes, I'd had enough and went in telling this lady we were coming in. Added to this, the smoke alarms throughout the villa did not work, and as there was no way of securing the separate apartments, we had to close the metal shutters at night. With no smoke alarms, this is unbelievably dangerous. The facilities were adequate...
