Our rustic cabin can be perfect for a relaxing getaway in the Ozarks. This one bedroom, one bathroom cabin can sleep 4 comfortably but can accommodate 5, with a queen bed and a twin bed in the bedroom and a pull-out sleeper in the living room.

The kitchen has bar seating for 2 and a dining room table to hold 4 guests. Guests can cook their own meal in our stocked kitchen or head to town for several tasty restaurant options. We supply you with fixins’ for S’mores, coffee, and charcoal for grilling.

You can relax and rock on the front porch, sipping your beverage of choice while enjoying the sunrise or some peace and quiet. (This is a Dry county, so come prepared)

Enjoy the provided wifi. There is cable TV in the living room along with games and books for entertainment.

If you need something a little larger, check out our other rental "The Little Barn on the Hill" Vrbo # 2249401 (It has two bedrooms and a washer & dryer) or if you are needing something for a group these two rentals are a quarter mile of each other.

my daughters best friend lives in Mtn View so she stayed with her family and my best friend of almost 50 years met me there for some fun at the Folk Festival. The Little House on the Hill was absolutely perfect for our getaway. We loved the location and the place!! I can’t say enough good things about this place and the host. Will definitely stay again! 😃

It was a very charming and quaint little house. It was very clean and well stocked with necessities. It was very quiet but you didn’t feel isolated. I would recommend it for a small family.

This little cabin was perfect for our family of 5 we had everything we needed to grill out and we enjoyed the fire pit. They even provided us with the makings for smores! There were also lots of board games and dvds the location was beautiful and quiet and we had a wondeful experiance

My Mom, sister and I stayed here on our way back home to IL from vacation in Heber Springs. It's located close to town, yet you're set in the country. Very comfortable and cozy!! It was too hot to utilize the fire pit for s'mores, but hopefully next time! Highly recommend!

I could not stop talking about how adorable the cabin was. It was perfect for our little family. The only surprise for me was the pictures made me think it had separate bedrooms. The beds are in one room, this was a pleasant surprise for me. I have small children and was nervous about them being in a different room. Clean, comfortable, cute.

The little cabin is absolutely perfect for anything in or around mt view. Great cell service all around the cabin. Everything was perfect. Mt view a great spot to unplug and reset. One thing to note: I checked for spiders before we got in bed and found one in each bed. I know it’s a cabin and it happens. Just posting mainly owners are aware. None of us were bitten.

Rustic JOY
We came to Mtn View for a family getaway. We were dlighted to find the cabin as shown in the pics. It was lovely. Clean, comfortable and sweetky decorated. We enjoyed relaxing around the fire pit after a busy day in the area, and our girls enjoyed roasting the narshmallows Ms Sheryl so thoughtfully left for her guests (all the ingredients for s'mores). We loved rocking on the front porch & watching the cows across the way. Everything you need to cook with & eat with and on is provided. Beds were fully made, towels and washclothes in the bathroom, and they all smelled fresh and clean. Everything offered in the ad is here. But, if you're like me, you may miss what isn't here-a washer & dryer, nor an iron/ironing board. Easily remedied with the laundromat in town. We just needed a quick tumbke for our church clothes...lol. We would stay here again and will tell our friends for sure.

Excellent cabin vacation!
The cabin is a restored vintage home with lots of gorgeous wooden accents and all the expected amenities. The fire pit with s'mores makings was a thoughtful touch and we did enjoy it. The owner was friendly and responsive to messages, and we plan on staying here again next year.
