Good location
While the property is dated, it is well taken care of and included everything we needed. It's time to replace mattresses but they worked for our 2 night stay. Location was rated lower due to the 3-4 am wake up call from a neighbors rooster but it was easy access to the places we were visiting.

Older yet well kept home, conveniently located at the northwest end of Mountain Home. Close to refurbished downtown shops. A quick ride to the box stores, Bull Shores, and Lake Norfork. Comfortable and beautifully decorated. Owners are attentive and caring. We hope to stay again in the future.

I was a little uneasy because I didn’t receive check in information much in advance, unlike other VRBOs I have stayed in. I was pretty sure the departure information was for winter months because it said to set the thermostat to 70 degrees, but overall everything was fine. The pictures need to be updated, the furniture was much nicer than in the pictures.

When we arrived at the property, the house was just as the listing said. I loved how comfortable and quiet the neighborhood was. The home was stocked with everything we needed to make the stay comfortable. All you had to do was make a quick trip to the grocery store and cook like at home. The owners were friendly and easy to communicate with prompt responses to my questions. I loved the snacks that were left. I will be looking to book this house the next time I come to Mountian Home

The cottage was very easy to find and the host was amazing! The recommendation for things in town were perfect for our stay. The beds and towel were very clean and the added snacks were terrific. It was nice being able to travel with our pets. Having a garage to pull into and get right into the home with everything on one level was a added bonus to this property. The downfall with this property is the bathrooms. They are dated and hard for someone with disabilities. The place has adorable decor, but it was lacking with a good dusting and shower scrub for the nooks and crannies. Traveling with a disabled vet right away was very impressed to see the American Flag hanging, but needs replaced as it’s starting to fray and it’s not lit at night. The light bulb on the front porch was burnt out too. So minor things that can be improved, but would recommend for anyone who is traveling to Mountain Home.

Home away from home
I can't even begin to thank Judy properly. I came down here to Arkansas because my grandfather was ill. Little did I know I would actually be down here to say goodbye and to be down here for his funeral. This has been the most painful moment of my life and Judy has been so caring and helpful. She has worked with me to extend my stay so I can be here to grieve with my family and be present for the funeral. I am forever thankful for your generosity. This is a lovely place to stay and I look forward to our next visit here. Thank you so much, Judy, you are such a kind soul.
