Amazing view!

Memorial Day Getaway!
We LOVED staying with Patty in Mountain Home! We were hesitant at first having the owner living above us but it actually turned out better than we could have ever expected! Patty is amazing and the most accommodating hostess! We will definitely be booking with her again!

Amazing Stay, Property, and Communication
Patti is one of the best hosts, hands down. Excellent and friendly communication, incredibly mindful of her guests, and the place was immaculate. Tastefully designed indoor and outdoor spaces, with a great attention to detail were highlights. From a koi pond, to ample seating overlooking beautiful views of the lake, to comfy beds, to hiking trails you access by foot, everything was perfect. As a bonus, she has well behaved dogs that you can interact with as little or as much as you like! Would not hesitate to recommend this to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.

Great stay, knock out views!
We really enjoyed our stay, Patti has to be the nicest person on the planet and took care of everything. Her place was beautiful, very clean, and the views of the lake far exceeded the photos. Patti has wonderful places in her garden to sit and enjoy the view. We had a very nice quiet getaway, we walked the trails and explored some wonderful places to eat. We really enjoyed the fire pit. And Patti is a SUPER host!

Perfect!
We were attending a wedding in the area. Though Patty was unable to be onsite, she prepared the property for a wonderful visit. She checked on us to insure our stay was great as well. The property was perfect for us. We enjoyed sitting outside in her beautiful garden area. Highly recommend this property. Very peaceful. We had a great time and would stay here again. The view of the lake is amazing and a short trip down the hill gets you there. Thank you Patty for sharing your slice of heaven. tg

Very Beautiful backyard with mesmerizing lake view. Backyard sittings have choices between Pagola to Multi patio furniture placements. Loved the landscape beautifully constructed by the awesome Landlady. Enjoyed outdoor fire pit while listening to your own choice of music at Pagola outdoor Bluetooth speaker. We had to cancel our first initial visit which Landlady helped us to rearranged in next following weeks. Our overall stay was beyond our expectations.

Beautiful lake view stay
This was a beautiful property. Amazing views of lake norfolk and plenty of outdoor places to enjoy. Lovely sitting areas on the deck outside with comfortable chairs. Master bedroom has very comfortable king bed and beautiful views out the window. Inside decor is very cozy with a great vacation lake vibe. Would stay here again.

Short trip to the lake
We did a short trip to Mountain Home and found this place and it was perfect t. Very private and had a campfire at night . Beds were very comfortable ! The hostess is amazing !

Relaxing stay on Lake Norfork with an incredible lake view!
Our family of 5 had a fantastic stay at Patty's lake apartment. It was beautifully landscaped with gardens, firepits, plenty of outdoor furniture, and calming water fountains and chimes. It even had a koi pond! And that is on top of the incredible view of Lake Norfork. Everything we needed to have a "feel at home "vacation was provided. Patty was very helpful and we enjoyed getting to know her. We have been coming to this neighborhood for years but sold our cabin. This was the best substitute we could have found. We will be back! Thank you Patty for your hospitality!

Perfect Getaway
We really enjoyed our beautiful view of the lake and the backyard. The garden was also so pretty! We also spent every night gathered around the fire pit. It was the perfect little getaway and came just at the right time. We will hopefully be back.

Classy in nature
This was our first time vacation renting with an owner and it was a GREAT experience. We cannot wait to go back. Ms. Patty was incredibly gracious and went far above and beyond to help us with anything we needed. The place is lovely as described. It felt like a private little resort on the lake. We HIGHLY recommend staying here!

Great getaway retreat
We had a great stay with Patty and Harley. Our 3 year old loved the fish pond, but she adored Harley, the dog. A wonderful view and the unit had everything you could possibly need and more.

The owner of the property Patty was an excellent host and very helpful with all our needs. The area is beautiful. My son loved the dog on property who goes by the name Harley. The yard opens up to a beautiful view of the lake. We enjoyed our experience very much and look forward to returning.

Peaceful retreat
The property is beautiful, many places to sit & enjoy the lake view. Inside was beautiful, clean, and anything we might have needed was inside (towels, linen, toiletries, laundry soap, dish soap, shampoo, body wash, lotion, etc.). Our favorite part was giving Harley well-deserved ear scratches :)

A great get-away!
So we needed to get a way...it’s sad when you don’t have time to take a vacation! I went to VBRO and found what looked like a nice place to stay. So I booked it. 2 weeks later we arrived and it was better then the listing described! We were met by Patti, our hostess, that showed us around and made us feel right at home. Her sweet apartment looks out over Norfork Lake. She has a BEAUTIFUL garden with plenty of sitting areas that include a fire pit, koi pond, and lighted area all over looking the lake. Inside are 2 nice size bedrooms, a cute kitchen and of course a powder room. There is a nice sitting area at one end of a huge bedroom with a fireplace, if needed! All VERY clean and well stocked with kitchen wear/sheets/ blankets. The best though was Patti! She was there if needed, but we never felt like she was hovering! Haha! Just so nice and welcoming! We will be back...maybe to get that longer, needed vacation!

Amazing place
We absolutely loved our stay at Patty's house. The yard, landscaping, abundance of seating, and views are perfect. We felt so comfortable on our stay like we were right at home. Patty was so kind and feel like we left with a new friend. The bed in the big room was so comfortable that I slept through the entire night. We hope to be back again next year!

Highly recommend!!!
I’ve enjoyed several nights by this fire pit watching the stars & the moon glow over the lake & coffee mornings. The property is very homey & welcoming. We were very comfortable with every amenity we needed. Lake access nearby & beautiful wooded trails. Close to town for dinner but we’ve cooked several times as well. Highly recommend!

Breathtaking views!!
This is definitely a cozy “home away from home “ getaway. The owner makes you feel so comfortable and has all the touches that makes it so peaceful and relaxing. AND THEN there are the amazing views in the back! I would recommend this place to stay to anyone!! P.S. the owner is a sweetheart!

This property really has it all. It is located within walking distance of great nature trails. It is surrounded by beautiful flower gardens, a fire pit, and a view of the lake that feels like nothing but beauty and tranquility surround you. The home is beautiful and clean. Incredible views with southern charm and comfort!
We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful property that offers an unbeatable, gorgeous view. We loved sitting around the fire pit outside enjoying our coffee, taking in the flower gardens and the surrounding nature. We had everything we needed from the BBQ grill to the full kitchen, and slept like a baby on the tempura mattresses. We also loved that this property had trail access to the lake, with beaches and a park, all within walking distance. It’s also close enough to town but with these views, the quiet environment and all the nature surrounding, you feel like you are far away!

Clean beautiful apartment Everything you want
We had a wonderful Thanksgiving. It was beautiful but a Little cold but still could enjoy the deck and the fire pit. We had a great family Thanksgiving over looking the Lake. She had all the fire wood we needed all chopped and ready to go. We had s’mores and sang around the fire. I know she had a beautiful flower garden but fall had set in. However the view from the window was sparked with blue from the reflection of the lake. There was very comfortable outdoor seating, We saw deers and she had 🦅 bird feeder that attracted so many different kind of birds. We used her new BBQ grilling, and full stocked kitchen. The bed was a new tempura pediatric mattresses . One bedroom had a large screen TV and we watched TV while we relaxed from a day of hiking. Yes We went on hikes. We packed a lunch and walked Davids Trail that was within walking distance we rested at the top that overlooked Norfolk Lake. We really appreciate all the extra touches. We plan to stay again next during the Summer the lake is in walking distance with a state park. It is fun to walk around the camp and watch families enjoy the fires and food on the grill. We love looking at everyone’s campers. Another thing we did was go trout fishing on the White River. It is a easy 20 minute drive to get to the river. The fish were delicious when we caught them and fried up for dinner. Another treat is going to Gaston’s where my husband proposed to me. It is a beautiful restaurant on The White River. It is about 45 minute drive but worth the ambiance and food. We are going to bring our boat next summer and float on tubes and listen to music in the warm lake. We are sure looking forward to staying there again. It sure was worth the price.
