Summary:
Bright and open, mix of a vacation feel with a modern urban townhouse. Incredible location, 5 minutes from Shem Creek, 10 minutes to downtown Charleston, and 15 minutes to Sullivan's Island/ Isle of Palms beaches. Unit is in a townhouse community.

Upstairs has 2 bedrooms , each with a queen bed and a private bathroom.
Master has a private outdoor balcony. Downstairs has open living space/kitchen and patio

Lots of privacy as there are two full bedrooms, each with a full private bathroom.

Hot Tub is inflate-able, 70" diameter, 25" high. Perfect for 2 adults, up to 4 can fit

The Neighborhood:
Great mix of family activities and nightlife. Mount Pleasant offers something for everyone. Some of the best things that are within 5 minutes:

- Shem Creek : This is a harbor area on the water with a public park, docks, restaurants, and bars.
- Memorial Waterfront Park : Public park on the water, underneath the Ravenel bridge. Fishing pier, playground, gift shop, grassy fields, veteran's war memorial.
- Patriot's Point: Maritime Museum
- Grocery Shopping: Whole Foods, Trader Joes, Harris Teeter, Aldi are down the street

Beyond this 5 minute radius, some of the other areas worth exploring:
- Downtown Charleston (10 minutes) : Historic city, beautiful views, exceptional restaurants, tons of history
- Sullivan's Island (12 minutes) : Beach community with public beach access and 5-6 restaurants
- Isle of Palms (15 minutes): Beach community with public beach access, shopping, a pier, and a few bars and restaurants
- James Island / Johns Island - (15-20 minutes) : Eclectic communities that border Charleston on the other side of the peninsula. Very natural with large oaks and lots of beauty, as well as good restaurants. check out the Angel Oak on Johns Island
- Folly Beach (30 minutes) - Hip/Surfer beach community. A throw back to another era...best waves in the area.

Parking is ample at the unit. Uber/Lyft are other suggested options for getting around, everything is pretty close.

Wedding weekend on Mount Pleasant!
My fiancé and I stayed here for a wedding that was in Mount Pleasant and the location was perfect! Very convenient to a lot of things and the drive downtown took less than 10 minutes. Great place to stay!

The perfect getaway
Took a vacation with my mom and brother. This space had everything we needed and was close to all the fun attractions. We couldn’t have asked for a better property or host. Would definitely stay here again.

needs a little TLC
Property was a little hard to find by GPS. Condo was clean with plenty of towels and toiletries. Outdoor space could have been cleaned. Unable to use patio furniture due to cushions being left out and wet/dirty. 2nd story patio had many soft/rotten spots. Beds comfortable. living room cozy we played games and watched movies as a group. was disappointed we could not enjoy the outdoor space.

This place was perfect for my husband and I with our dogs. Location was great! Super close to shems creek which has a bunch of restaurants on the water and about 15 min drive to Charleston!

Not worth the money
This property was a huge disappointment. It was very hard and not in a great neighborhood. When I entered it was musty and smelled like dog. There was pet hair on the floor and stains on the carpet. There was a lot of wear and tear though out the house. The fixtures were loose in the bathroom and there wasn’t great hot water. The hot tub wasn’t very clean and was basically a blow up pool that wasn’t hot and had no seats in it. The towels were terrible- like the ones I’d use for my dog, not the ones I’d put out for guests. The beds weren’t comfortable either.

Don’t judge a book by its cover
The exterior of this property is not very appealing but once you enter the house it is cute and cozy. The host provides all the amenities you need, the beds are comfy. There were flowers set out, which was a nice touch.

The home was perfect for our visit to the area. Conveniently located to everything you need. We really felt at home and spent a good bit of time hanging out at the house. Hot tub was awesome! Love me some Dave!
Regardless of what feel like not-picky things (couldn’t get in to the house upon arrival, hit Tun was cold, stepped on a piece of glass barefoot on the deck getting in to the hot tub, connectivity issue, out of laundry detergent…) I would STILL give this stay 5 stars! Dave was there through it all (when I called!) and took care of it!! So communicative and responsive which is so helpful. And the place is so CUTE and in a good and convenient neighborhood! Thank you Dave!

Great Location
We were looking for a place to get to downtown and out to Sullivan’s for a trip with friends - this location totally hit that mark. We were also able to work super easily with David to get down and get in. Fun trip!

Needs tlc
There was no curb appeal. Grass not mowed and weed everywhere. Front door lock hard to work. The whole condo smelled like animals and the carpet going upstairs was gross. There was a big pet stain on landing. There were cob webs on the light above the sink and a ton of caked on dust above the vents by the ceiling. He used extension cords up over a door way to plug in a light which I’m sure is against code. The handle to the kitchen sink was corroded. The kitchen was not very well equipped. Also he could use some new bed linens and bathroom towels. One towel I used smelled terrible. I believe there was cardboard in the window upstairs. I would not stay there again or would I recommend it to anyone else. Sorry

Great location with all the amenities we needed. Accessible washer and dryer was handy. Two bedrooms with private bathrooms was perfect. The only complaint we had was the dampness and musty smell inside. The couch felt damp and had pet hair on it, so updated furniture would be nice. The upstairs bathroom was dark and could use more lighting.

Overall it was a nice stay!
We liked the set up of the house with its open floor design and "beachy" feel. The neighborhood was mainly quiet, with mostly well kept homes and friendly neighbors. Location was good; there were several places to eat within minutes/walking distance, we were close to all the major towns and it was easy to get in and out on Johnnie Dodds blvd. The property manager was great, quickly responding to my inquiries prior to our vacation. The place was fairly clean (but I was a professional cleaner for 20 years so my standards and expectations are very high). The house needs quite a bit of love and attention such as fresh paint, new carpet/floors, blinds, landscaping, replace bathroom fan, etc. The sofas were fine but do hold pet hair for sure. The beach chairs weren't in good shape and the kitchen supplies were inadequate. We couldn't do as much cooking as we'd planned. The full bathrooms and the bedrooms were a nice size which I loved, and the bed was one of the most comfortable I've ever slept in. I enjoyed coming down to the kitchen in the mornings and having coffee at the bar. Everything worked (appliances, disposal, drains) and I had no need to reach out to the property manager. The instructions that were left for us told us where everything was, how to operate things, and check out procedures; they were clear and thorough. Once we got settled in, I was able to overlook the lack of TLC and enjoyed the stay very much.
