"Loved the hotel facilities, views, restaurant and room size. Requested shower chair and microwave were in the room before we checked in:-) We were also greeted with a bottle of wine and discount voucher for restaurant. Girlfriend's birthday felt acknowledged and special. The whole experience felt like a treat. Despite cold weather, the pools, hot tubs, and restaurant outdoor seating were all warmed nicely. Easy drive to all of Santa Cruz and Capitola beaches. Will be 1st choice for future Santa Cruz stays. Thanks to all the wonderful staff we met and behind the scenes- Cheers, Matthew"

"My wife and I stayed here New Years week for our baby moon. We checked in later in the evening and were given an ADA room. The bed was too low for my wife to get in and out of. I explained to the front desk staff how difficult it was for my wife (7 months pregnant) to get in and out of bed. They were so understanding and helpful. The next morning we had a new room. They brought us extra pillows for my wife and were so helpful. The valet staff were great, always happy and quick to get our vehicle. Being right on the beach is wonderful. The rooms are super clean and very comfortable. "

"The rooms were very comfortable and clean. Everything was just renovated and it's looks great. There is construction across the street from the other hotel being built but it didn't impact us in any way. We spent most of our time at the boardwalk and this was the closest hotel. "
