"UNDER THE PALMS" of Downtown Mount Dora

A beautiful, fully-renovated 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom cozy attached guest house in Downtown Mount Dora. Includes fully equipped kitchen with microwave, stove, refrigerator, dual sinks, toaster & coffee maker.

Each bedroom has a king-sized bed. An extra twin-sized bed is available, if needed. There is a make-up/hair station in each bedroom, which includes a large mirror, desk with a drawer, chair, hairdryer, extra outlets, and a make-up mirror. Living room has flat screen HDTV with Roku, Xfinity streaming included, WIFI and a very comfortable leather recliner couch.

Private picnic area & parking available.

Magnificent place in Mt Dora
Our return visit was as outstanding as the first. Great place and great location for really enjoying Mt Adorable, on foot since it is so close to the action. Randy and LuAnne will make you feel at home!

The property was perfect. Great location - could not get much closer to downtown Mt. Dora. The owners were extremely friendly and reached out throughout the trip to ensure everything was going okay. The cottage was clean and stocked with everything a person would need. Would stay again for sure.

Mt Dora for Thanksgiving
What a terrific place "Under the Palms" to relax and enjoy Mt Adorable - Someplace Special. The location was perfect, one block from Donnelly Park and the heart of town, so festively adorned for the season. This property is cozy, complete and comfortable with welcoming hosts and relaxing lounge chairs from which to enjoy the beautiful weather and read a book or take a nap. Our stay was fantastic.

"A Lovely Stay"
Mt. Dora is a wonderful destination and "Under Palms " was a great accommodation. It's a five-minute walk to all of Mt. Dora's shops, restaurants and activities. Our hosts were friendly and responded to all requests. You won't be disappointed!

Amazing Location
The unit is a perfect distance from the main central area of town. You can walk everywhere within 5 minutes. The owners are extremely supportive and easily reachable. The unit is clean and fully stocked. This is my second time visiting this unit.

We loved this little home away from home…..an escape for us from the big city to the charming small town of Mt Dora. Luanne and Randy instantly endeared themselves to us! Their rental was clean and confortable and had everything we needed. The location can’t be beat. We loved playing Pickleball a block and a half away and walking everywhere. Restaurants overlooking the lake were our favorites. We would highly recommend this idyllic spot.

Girl's Trip to Mt. Dora
This little bungalow is quaint and comfortable. Owners live next door and available anytime. I picked this little cottage because of the walking location to downtown Mt. Dora, 2 blocks away from everything. And because of it's 2 king size beds. Definitely would stay again for the next event.

Perfect location for craft fair
The home was just perfect for our weekend stay to see family and go to the craft fair. The home is well appointed and comfortable. The owners communicated with us. They live onsite and we saw them throughout the weekend; kindly letting a family member park onsite to enjoy the short walk to the craft fair with us.

I needed a place to stay for a few days while my house got fumigated and it was right up the street! The place looked exactly as it was shown on the site. It was such a cute, warm, cozy place to stay and it felt like home. It is also a minute away from downtown mount dora and minutes away to get into town to run errands. I absolutely loved and enjoyed staying there especially with the king sized bed that you just sink into! The owners were incredibly welcoming and made me feel comfortable! So happy I found a place so close by!

Wonderful and Relaxing Time
This property is located just 2 blocks from downtown Mt Dora! It’s an ideal location - close enough for shopping yet far enough away from the noise and traffic to relax in a lovely quiet neighborhood. The hosts were very attentive to our needs and quickly replied to any text messages. The home is well stocked with linens, blankets, towels, pillows as well as a fully stocked kitchen. On site parking for 1 car. If staying in Mt Dora, check out this pet friendly property. You won’t be disappointed. We will definitely be back!

Great plce to stay
A nice welcoming feel upon entering. Cutely decorated without a lot of knickknacks that we had to worry about disturbing (we have boys). Had everything we could need plus more. Beds were very comfy allowing for a great nights rest after our long day at a Scottish festival. Randy and Luann were very easy to work with and great hosts. They stopped by to say hello and see if we needed anything at our festival space. Very close to downtown and our festival site. Good WiFi and TV reception. Would definitely like to stay again next year if it is available. Thanks again, much appreciated.

Spring Break in Mt. Dora
Loved everything about it except the tile flooring. My granddaughter who is 3 and a1/2 likes to go barefoot indoors. Her feet were black from the tile even though it looked very clean. We were wiping her feet clean numerous times. Maybe clean the tile with soap and water after it’s been swept.

Perfect stay
Has all you need including very comfy clean big beds and an extra twin! The luxury big reclining couch was a huge hit and perfect for watching a movie before bedtime or watching the news with coffee/tea in the morning! Easy walk to the lake, all the great food and shops in Mt Dora. We loved it so much we stayed an extra night.
