Liz and Lee were wonderful! The house was immaculate, they are very thoughtful and include all the extras! Cookies for me and my daughters, fresh eggs and fruit, bathroom items if you forget something and the house is SO unique! The decor is amazing! We had an awesome stay in the “Fisherman’s cottage”. Our host, Liz, was easy to communicate with about bringing a boat and very detail oriented in preparation for our arrival. Lots of surprises in the home as well as stocked necessities. We had such a good time in the community and hope to stay again soon!

New Years in Mt. Dora
We have Forever Friends that had never been to Mt. Dora, We try to celebrate each New Years Eve together… This year we rented The Fisherman’s Cottage and the four of us all fell in Love the minute we opened the door… From the Marine Art throughout the cottage, to the kindness of our hosts, the City of Mt. Dora then add in the fantastic fireworks… We had the perfect New Years Getaway!!! Thank you Lisa and Lee for letting us share our holiday with you at your very special Fisherman’s Cottage…

A perfect, beautiful cottage!
This is our second time staying at this property. This cottage is located within walking distance to the shops, restaurants and lake. Great communication with the owners who are always very accommodating and so nice to deal with. They even provided fresh farm eggs for breakfast! The house is kept in an immaculate condition on a lovely street. Looking forward to my next visit and counting the days!
