"Host left wonderful provisions for our stay including nice bread, fresh milk and a bottle of wine among other things. Bed and bedding was excellent. Great location and being able to pet the cows in the adjoining paddock was nice! Would highly recommend to anyone staying in the area. "

"A lovely place to stay ( Oct. 2024). We had a nice room (cottage #1) which had a basic kitchenette. Large room and bathroom, separate bedroom. Very friendly owners. The property is in an excellent location, centrally located on the main road. Many restaurants and bars a short walk away. Laundry facilities on site. Secure parking. Highly recommended."

"Host was very accommodating however the property description doesn't match reality. Cooking was via a shared barbecue, washing up needed to be done in the bathroom vanity and the restaurant was closed. Most meals required a 20 minute drive to Nairne...or slightly further to Mt Barker. It would be OK for an overnight stay or weekend if you wanted to travel around the Adelaide Hills. Longer stays are very difficult."

"The moment we opened the door the cottage had embraced us both, we felt welcomed and relaxed. This amazing 1860 cottage has been beautifully renovated with rustic features and gorgeous timber furniture throughout. "I had a wonderful, relaxing weekend in Elisa's cottage. The location is stunning and so private. Kangaroos grazed around the verandah while i had my morning coffee. The cottage is cosy and very comfortable. Elisa has thought of everything you could need for some peaceful downtime. Highly recommended!"

"What a beautiful setting and property. It was a chilly weekend, but the wood fire inside was fabulous. Looking out over the hills and dam with alpacas, sheep and kangaroos nearby grazing. Lovely and quiet and property had everything we needed with thoughtful touches such as chocolate and bubbly for our arrival. Beds super comfy and location was very convenient between Macclesfield and meadows. Highly recommend this place. "
