"The location is prefect for walking around the Alishan. They also provide free shuttle buses. The staff and quality of service are excellent. We enjoyed the buffet breakfast and dinner a lots. However, there was some weird machinery noises at night. They were not loud but noticeable at quiet nights. Not sure it was related to the renovation or air conditioners. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel if it fits to your budget. "

Meals were mediocre but breakfast and dinner were included with the room fee. Not a bad experience but not a great value for the price paid. "

The property is away from the main road, so it’s quiet, but it’s still a walkable distance to the main attractions. "Be aware this is an old dormitory facility. The rooms are basic but clean. The whole place smells a bit of mildew. Pillows are not good. There are many hills and stairs to get to some of the rooms.
