The Vineyard House - Quiet and Quaint Full House

Historic, quiet and quaint, private house built in the late 1920s. 2 bedroom, 2 bath, with full Futon, sleeps 5 people - full kitchen with laundry room. Located just minutes from Mayberry - Home of Andy Griffith, Blue Ridge Mountains, and the Yadkin Valley Wine Trail. Enjoy the festivals in the surrounding areas and the Virginia border is less than 10 minutes away. Here you will enjoy the Blue Ridge Parkway and breathtaking views. Dogs are welcome, please see pet policy.

Great place. Quiet, clean and could not ask for better hostess than Cheri. We had one visit from a friendly dog who wanted to play but I didn't have a problem shooing him away, even though he clearly wanted to stay. 😊

We loved staying at the Vineyard House. It's a surprisingly large property for being in the city and affords lots of privacy and relaxation. It is conveniently located near a shopping center with grocery and other stores yet is away from the main road tucked away in a very nice quiet neighborhood. We plan to visit "Mayberry" again and when we do, we will be staying at the Vineyard House.

We really enjoyed staying at your property. The house was as advertised and the lot was roomy! Just a couple of suggestions: the towel rack in the front bathroom needs to be tightened and back bathroom sink needs drano.

Had a wonderful time watching old movies and talking about the ‘60’s. Third time at this rental. Could not ask for a better hostess. Property was clean and quite.

Great house! Pet friendly. A fenced back yard would be great as there is no leash law. The neighborhood dogs running free were friendly for the most part but a secure place to take your dog out would be nice.

Nice house. Safe neighborhood. Wish north Carolina had a leash law. Lots of neighborhood dogs loose. Owner was very accommodating.

Good house for a Mount Airy getaway
We enjoyed staying here! We were surprised at how big the house was when we walked through it. If you use the futon, you have an extra bedroom, although not private as there is a bathroom you share with the back bedroom. Loved the big comfy couch and that they have a good kitchen layout. We did notice 2 of the neighbor's large dogs who kept coming around, my aunt is scared of dogs, but what can ya do about others?

Wedding Celebration
We came to celebrate our daughter's wedding 😊 Vineyard House was just adorable and was only 15 minutes from the wedding venue. It had everything we needed from a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom and bedroom linens, super nice laundry facilities all the way down to pet supplies and doggie bed, which our lil dog took to right away! It is in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood, perfect or walking my dog. She even made a new friend with a neighborhood dog! 😊 We enjoyed our stay at Vineyard House very much and hope to return again someday! ❤️

Cozy cottage
Cute cottage. Close to all Mount Airy has to offer! Clean and beds are comfortable. The neighborhood is ok. Neighborhood dogs were always around and came a little too close for our liking. We brought two small dogs that could never go outside without the other dogs coming around. If we didn’t have dogs with us- I would have no complaints. A non-dog lover may be bothered by this.
