This sweet little guesthouse is in a great location near the heart of "Mayberry" (Mt Airy). Within walking distance of historic downtown, the Andy Griffith Museum and Wally's Service station, this bungalow is tucked behind the main house for privacy and quiet. For many years, the property was owned by a local sign maker and this separate building was where he created his signs. Some of his creations are displayed on the exterior. The interior has been completely remodeled. The maximum capacity for this unit is 3.

We stayed here for a quick last minute weekend for the Truck Show we only stayed one night it was three adults and a great stay for us it was very quiet and felt like a safe neighborhood.the owner was super nice and respectful would definitely stay again.i honestly have no complaints

The property was very clean and cozy. It was alot smaller then advertised, but we made the best of it and had a great time. The property manager was very nice and helpful. I would stay here again.

Great location...not much experience with VRBO but appears these accommodations are minimal. Some TV apps work only if you bring your password from home.

Great little place
We stopped here for an overnight on the way to Topsail. The bungalow was clean and comfortable. Darrell checked us in and gave us good ideas about where to eat and what to do. Mt. Airy is a friendly and fun town. Would definitely recommend a visit.

Fabulous Location
I had a wonderful, relaxing, and fun time in Mt. Airy. The Bungalow was in a perfect location, just a few short blocks from "Mayberry" - the courthouse/jail, hotel, filling station, and just a few short blocks from downtwon Mt. Airy - with shops and restaurants. The place was as pictured, and quite quiet. I would stay there again!

Overall was a great place to stay and close to everything. Parking was a little tight. Overall was exactly what was expected. I would recommend Chasin Charlie’s and the Depot in Dobson. Best food we had.

Most importantly the host neglected to say that the house is hidden behind the main house which is impossible to see from the road with a driveway that was impossibly narrow .The only good thing I can say about the house was it was clean.

Wonderful Vacation Rental
This is a sweet intimate cabin with an at home feeling. My husband and I spent 4 nights there and would highly recommend it for a cozy getaway. Parking is a little tight but manageable. One block away from downtown Mt. Airy but the stores are close for groceries or eating out. The host was always quick to answer questions or concerns. We will definitely rent from them again should we decide to return to the area.

Perfect Location to Downtown!!
We were unaware of the small parking arrangements until the day before check in. Luckly we were able to rent a smaller vehicle last minute because are F250 truck would have never fit .

We were very pleased with the bungalow. Clean and quaint. Darryl was very nice and easy to work with. Answered any questions we had. We were comfortable there and what you see in the pictures is what it is. We spent most of our time out, sightseeing so we didn't spend a lot of daytime there, just evenings.

We enjoyed our stay. It was quiet, comfortable, and had pretty much everything you need. Communication could have been better. My only issue was how unkempt the outside of the property is. High weeds and overgrown bushes were unappealing.
