"The best word to describe this property is "peaceful". The staff and service were superb. The decoration is beautiful. We stayed here on New Year's Eve and there ended up being a miscommunication concerning our hotels.com reservation. There were not any other rooms available in town. The staff went out of their way to make things right and to find room for us. We stayed with five kids and they really enjoyed the pool. They also had life jackets so out 2 year old could swim. "We arrived and were asked to wait so that the guy on the desk could spray the room with air freshener. On entering the room the place looked shabby and on close inspection of the pillows we quickly decided not to use them as some were stained yellow. The a/c turned on but did nothing to cool down the room and the fan on the wall only oscillated about twice before sticking. "This hotel is beautiful. The breakfast is great with different options to choose from, from omelets and waffles to local Cambodian food. The people working in the hotel were all very kind and respectful. I had an issue with the air conditioning being loud and they sent someone to fix it within 5 minutes. We attended the New year Eve Gala and it was awesome. Great food, drinks, it was beautifully decorated , the live band played cool music and we danced the night away. Oh and the pool is amazing!"

"The service is superb and the pool is epic. Definitely recommend dining on the terrace one evening. The rooms and hotel are old school in design but the pool is beautiful and the staff are amazing. Definitely the best hotel in Siem Reap and well worth it - you’ll want to come back to somewhere like this after all your exploring. NB. bring bug spray!"
