"We were booked in for the guesthouse but when we got here really wanted to stay multiple nights and were given the option to move into a wing of the homestead at the same rate which was a generous option -- Frances and Julian are wonderful. "

The place was filthy with spider webs and dust, and it took us two hours to clean it enough to sleep. "This property is older but clean and tidy and very spacious. The only downside this stay was when I went to the reception to ask for washing powder for the laundry I wasn't told there was a $2 charge which I would happily paid, but the day after checkout I found we were charged on our credit card. Would have been nice to know."

"Excellent experience, beginning to end. Jenna at the front desk is a gem, and a true asset to this establishment. My room reservation had somehow been cancelled, by a booking site, as you can imagine I was worried and stressed out.... I contacted the quest on Durham street directly. Jennas kind and confident phone manner, calmed me instantly ,she sorted it out quick smart. And added underground parking (which I recommend for easy transition, via lift , from car to room). "Beautiful clean accommodation, within walking distance to town. We were very impressed with everything, and the front desk were proactive in contacting us ahead of time as to where the key would be left if the desk was unmanned. We couldn’t fault a thing here, lovely to see EV charging stations too. "
