"Stayed for 2 nights in a Comfy Cabin room over a weekend. I had emailed beforehand, asking for a room with a bath and this was honoured. Room was nice and large-ish for a hotel of this size. The decorations were quaint and thought was definitely put into the wall pictures and decor. Bathroom was great, with large bath and separate shower. Breakfast was great, freshly cooked. Customer service was 5*. Thanks "

"Stayed for 5 nights in a room in the Millers cottage. Staff were great. Breakfast good. Evening meals could have been better. Room very good. Would definitely stay again"

"When I arrived I was a little concerned about road noise, but I needn't have worried, the Hotel was lovely and quiet inside. The staff where incredibly friendly and welcoming. Food was great, room was great, bar was great... What more can I say!"

"The rooms are comfortable and had all the facilities you would want. The rooms are a little tired but with such a busy island you’ll only be sleeping and showering in it. Staff extremely helpful and welcoming including to our dog who they treated like royalty. Evening meal very good and breakfast which I paid for in advance was impressive. Great location. A little noisy at pub closing time but should be expected as I booked a hotel above a pub!!! Would recommend for all"

"I read the reviews of this hotel after booking and was a bit apprehensive but this hotel is clearly under new management. Staff so helpful and friendly breakfast was really tasty with fresh locally sources produce and I had the mixed grill in the evening (my go to meal), AMAZING! If I ever visit the IoW again I would happily stay at the Prince of Wales. "

"The Grapes Hotel is a piece from history, and historic hotel connected with historic events that hasn´t had the old doors and woodwork replaced with modern veneer. This is absolutely the real deal. This is the place where at least some of the Titanic crew partied the night away the night of April 9-10, 1912, just before they went on their voyage. And the pub looks like it did. "What a brilliant place! Fantastic room with additional sleeping area for our teen. Great to have cooking facilities and a dishwasher plus a dining table. Super long couch. Lovely view over a park. We will definitely stay again if we are in Southampton or in one of their other properties in the UK. Good value for money. "
