The location was great, very close to shops, cafes and restaurants: don't bother looking for the door number when finding the site, as there isn't a number on the door...look for a small sign that states 'Down Town Villa'
Check-in was very smooth and although I forgot the name of the man on reception, he was very helpful and let me leave my suitcase in reception before the official check-in time, as well as giving me a map of the area and pointing out places I should visit.
His customer service surpassed my expectations when he personally delivered a small chiller to my room, so that I could keep my soya milk chilled.
The studio room itself was very compact and contained a smaller size double bed, (official term 'Queen' size bed), and it was well presented with plenty of power sockets: a very important detail! I always find that a lack of power sockets to be very frustrating in accommodation, so Down Town Villa got it very right.
If there was one small niggle, it would be that the hot water tank, (I assume there is one in each studio room), is quite small. I ran out of hot water twice, whilst having a shower...I suppose I should learn how to shower with less water. Apart from that, it was a good overall experience and if I returned to Mostar again, I would definitely stay at this good value accommodation.
